It’s true, there’s an intangible Porsche~ness that permeates all their products and seems to make them better than the sum of their parts. I’ve owned Porsche, bmw and Mercedes, and Porsche build quality wins hands down. Great review.

Great review. Ordered the coupe version of the GTS and waiting for July delivery. It just bothers me that the V8 is tuned down to 453hp so plan to get a performance tune at my local Porsche motorsports. Adding aprox 125 more HP might not make me feel so "powerless" against those other competitors while maintaining driving dynamics. Its just too easy to do since your working with the same Turbo engine.

Porsche underrates the hell out of their cars... my Macan GTS is rated at 360 horsepower but it feels like it has 440 lol check out my acceleration vids its not only 360hp in this heavy little crossover!.. that 453 horsepower in the cayenne GTS will be with the x5M

Phenomenal review of this fine automobile! I agree with you 1000% on performance. I previously owned the Panamera GTS and you could see the wing come out once you reached a certain speed... I took a selfie while driving my Cayenne GTS and it looks as if I have a wing on the rear I wasn't aware of this feature. Does this model have such a feature or was I seeing things?

Alcantara is the name of the company that makes that style of material. Similar to Kleenex making tissue paper. Racetex might be Porsches name for the material
