I have been an F1 fan for as long as I can remember but you are 100% right. Indycar is far more entertaining and unpredictable. In F1 it seems only 2 drivers can win (if they do not crash)
@captainnebulous29183 жыл бұрын
@@oliox8685 I guess in modern terms I'm a bit of a "boomer" of racing myself XD I'm only 38 but been obsessed with and around literally all kinds of racing since I was the age of 4. (This was admittedly quite a challenge initially not being born into a racing family). In regards to F1.... it's not so much the lack of how many people can win. Ya know what? Put on above average to great races almost every weekend around that.... I'm down with even less than 5 drivers capable of winning. But when you have both the lack of competition AND the lack of intensely battling within that lack of competition..... nah bro, just nahhhhh All this being said, I am a HUGE sports car fan. Especially into any race 12 to 24 hours. Of course over that stretch it's hard to have a large multitude of battles up front or even sometimes mid-pack. But that's TWELVE to TWENTY FOUR HOURS..... anything less than a 20 second gap between first and second at the finish is a good indicator that there was likely some good battling to be had during the race. (This being said.... I wasn't too into Le Mans this year for some reason. Usually my favorite race other than the Indy 500. Even Spa seemed a bit off to me. Pretty sure it's just the quiet before the storm of the new era)

Herta was class of the day, Palou out Dixoned Dixon with an incredibly mature drive from an uber talented young man. Grosjean braking master class and more entertaining than the rest of the field put together he was having a blast driving and the fans were having a blast watching. I really thought that he was too ambitious against Jimmie Johnson but on second look he had his fronts alongside Jimmies before the apex so really JJ should have given more room. JJ also drove like he belongs no spins and on track passes etc... No the last place guy by virtue of competing. Sooo glad they are back at Laguna now put the Glen back on the schedule like it belongs. Great days to be an Indycar fan for sure.
