It's such a beautiful piece of art and such an inspiration to me. You are so artsy! I love the Dutch doors or barn doors and how you've used them to create more space. Thanks for explaining how to get colored photos of your book covers! What an great solution to a problem I've noticed other bujo creators have mentioned. I love the design of your unread books. It makes sense and is designed in a surprising 3D optical illusion. And your 2020 re-reads is so creative and inviting. For end of month stats, I like Amy's (from Amy's Bookish Life stats where she breaks down pages read each month. Because sometimes it's a little depressing to see I might not reach my books read goal by number of books, but a page stat might justify the fewer number of books if they were chunkers. You are so talented. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Subscribed.

This is so pretty, I can't ever imagine using a black paged book but it comes out so nice! Your spreads are all really well done. The hack for printing your book covers seems really cool, I got lost a bit with the technical aspects of it but that's because I'm computer illiterate. I will ask one of my kids lol I'm sure they will understand!

Wow it is so beautiful and labour intensive! I created reading journals for 5 of my grandkids & they were not even close to this level! I basically gave them a few questions to answer, required parts (author, title) and to create the book however they want. Your’s is gorgeous.

Btw, I just started watching the video, and I had to pause it and write a comment/suggestion before I forget... 👆🏻 I know a few months has gone by since you uploaded it, and you might have realize it by now, but I find that one of the more useful ways to write on black paper is with a dip/glass pen & acrylic inks (or drawing inks). As a matter of fact, I pretty much stopped buying the white Uni-ball Signo pens. Using dip/glass pen is so much cheaper! Okay, now I can watch the rest of your video... #Excited O-M-G! I'm speechless, and that's a rare thing... 😂 This journal is a #Masterpiece, Literally 💖 Thanks for sharing & inspiring!

I really love the Dutch doors. The pens work so well on the black; I had no idea how effective they were, so I now want a little black journal for creative purposes. Don't forget that if you run out of room, you can add in folded sheet to make a double page.

Beautiful reading journal-I don’t think I’d be comfortable working with black pages. As for your TBR...only 560 books? You would not want to see my shelves, physical or ebook. Regarding your setup for rereads, you never know how the year will work out. I was surprised by how many rereads I did in 2020 - more than I realized at the time. Do you copy favorite quotes/passages from books in your journal? Would love to see the setup for some of your pages!
