I like that RM offers this with different build kits though I still can't fathom paying 10K+ for a single bike out of the box.

Yeah bikes are getting at the 9-10 grand category, thats not cheap! To be honest a bike like that needs to be in the hands of a skilled and conditioned rider who can make use of the 38, etc. I have a 2019 Instinct BC and its more than i need most of the time, i do feel safe/safer doing pretty rough descents but all trails arent like that. I bought mine as a leftover in January 2020 pre COVID and even with upgrades like carbon wheels, handlebars and lighter seat less than 5 grand invested, 30 pounds exactly with Stamp 11 pedals, its an AWESOME bike

Be warned price of 2021 Instinct jumps dramatically. You do get better components but not worth over $1000 price jump for 2021 model IMO. For example it you want carbon frame you're spending minimum $6850 CAD ($5100 USD) 😬 I paid $3900 CAD ($2950 USD) for my 2018 Altitude A30 and gotta say she's been sooo much fun! Perfect trail bike especially with Ride 9 adjustability 👌

@Pinkbike how does this thing compare to the Slayer 29? I saw that RM has done some reconfiguring with there line up- Slayer 29 now gets a 180 fork, no more Maiden, and then they added this which is pretty damn close to the 170/170 Slayer 29.

I've ridden both and they are night a day different. The Slayer is quite a bit heavier and ride characteristics are way different. Slayer feels more "Big Moutain"...hence that's it's category name, and the Altitude more Enduro. Both fantastic bikes, but much different.

I have a 2019 BC with a few upgrades, 30 pounds even with a lighter seat, carbon wheels, handlebars and Stamp 11 pedals. Not sure if i need a 38 fork but the dealer i bought mine from has a Carbon Rally 90 in stock, 9 grand is getting up there, throw on some 2 grand plus carbon wheels and at 11 grand, thats a lot for a bike, i bought mine pre COVID as a leftover in January and got an amazing price

The Rally WAS 9100.00 US but just had an increase to i think 9500.00 not including carbon wheels so with high end carbon wheels and tax easily 12 grand+++ buy a decent used car for that.

I was hoping that the gt force would win the Enduro again I promised myself I would never buy rocket mountain again I bought a hard tail and it broke 5 times in 6 weeks and yes I was riding it the way I shouldn't doing 6 foot plus drops and stuff but c'mon man I spent 500 on it used and 600 on it for repairs never go cheap kids

They have 8 different models, all at different price points. Starts at 3500 which is really competitive with other entry level full suspension bikes. Every brand has their higher end builds because someone will buy them
