ROCON also offers a "vintage seat". It is a single rider seat, instead of a saddle. I believe that seat is also independently mounted on a spring system. If you get the enhanced cargo rack with the single v8ntage seat, tou could still place a pad for a passenger on the cargo rack.

Heavy at 340 pounds. Bright Yellow. It hurt me. In a sketchy situation, the excellent brakes smacked me on the ground caught my foot. ;-)

Curious about optimal riding technique?? Maybe it's a lot of fun to see how fast you can go, but if you ride it like a 2 wheeled tractor, slowing down and letting the torque carry you along, probably that's less effort, bouncing around, wrestling. Better for an all day effort.

Always wanted a Rokon, wondering how is the throttle response compared to a more “traditional “ type of motorcycle throttle response. Looks like a LOT of fun!
@ThrottleWorks3 жыл бұрын
The thing is truly a blast! As far as throttle response goes, the rokon is driven with a centrifugal clutch and has a low, mid, and high range selection. It's less geared for speed and more for torque so in low range if you give too much throttle it may try to toss you off the back lol but in high range it takes more power to get going. Hope that answers your question and if you or more folks would like I could do a full walk around of the bike.

I think he has to much air in the tires. For off road it should be around 5 psi for off road and 7 psi for street.
@bolwinklemoose19992 жыл бұрын
Doesn't weigh 1,000 lbs. It weighs 200 to 250 lbs. You can lift both wheels off the ground by pulling it sideways up onto the kickstand. Once off the ground on the kickstand, you can pivot the direction of the bike on the kickstand 360° while stationary. The tires should only be inflated from 5 to 7 psi, providing more suspension for offroad. If you get it stuck, dismount, stand to the side, put it in first gear, ease on the throttle and push at the same time. The oversize tires and hollow sealed rims enable you to float it on its side and swim it across a body of water. It's narrow enough for most foot trails and will pull one ton (2,000 lbs) with a 7 hp one cylinder four stroke carburated engine. It has a battery and electric start, but can be pull-started and can operate completely without a battery. It has no onboard computer, or computer chip electronics. It's not built for speed. It's built for endurance and torque power to steadily push through the most challenging terrain and steadily climb and pull weight up a 60% grade. It's top speed is about 35 to 40 mph. It has a three speed transmission with neutral and automatic/centrifugal clutch. It has one central disc brake that acts on the drive train, not the wheels. It is a work horse. Think of it as a powerful lightweight two wheel drive tractor.
