Thanks mate, yeh defiantly would be stable enough, these skis are awesome for stability, you won’t have a problem🍻

Nice review. I just ordered one and I keep watching your video to get my fix lol. I really like the new color scheme and it looks like it's got a good amount of power. I'm coming off a 300 hp sea doo so i was concerned it was gonna be under powered. Do the rod holders feel strong enough to handle a good strike from a good size fish ? Thank you
@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Hi Troy, thanks mate. The rod holders are stronger than I thought they would be, I had a crab scoop in one of them the other day, hit a wave and got air, snapping the crab scoop but the rod holder held up mint so yeh, they will handle a fish strike easily, and power wise, they are a perfect balance between fuel economy and power. I have a mate(macca) that has the seadoo 255hp and his uses exactly twice the fuel mine does. Your goin to love your fishpro:)

@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Hi Sea Dude, thanks for taking the time to watch our video and yeh they are fires in the background, they got close to homes but as far as I know no injuries and only minor damage to property. The awesome Firemen got it under control quickly!

@@excessivefishingaustralia2849 ah yeah nice mate. Thinking of picking up a Fish pro 170. Like the one in the vid I assume. Didn’t sell it because it was garbage? I’ve seen lots for sale second hand in my area with low hours and was wondering if there is a common occurring issue with them

Would also like to know I have a 2014 spark that has been 100% faultless. Crossing bars , chasing tuna and trolling for spanish. I have a boat also but the ski is a fishing machine

Hey Aaron, thanks for the review. Good one. How far off the coast can you go chasing Dhuies ? Is there a Km limit
@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, thanks for watching.You are allowed to go as far as you would in a 7.5m fishing boat. My Dhuie spots are around 33nm offshore, so I will head out there weather permitting:)

Thanks for the review mate. I’ve got one coming with the iDF in Feb. Are you still running the base maps and if so how much detail to the give you? Cheers
@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rob, I was to impatient to wait for the IDF model but think it would be a wicked addition to a already sick machine. The base maps are useless, Im running the Garmin maps, details not bad but nothing compared to the Navionics, and the shitty thing is the Garmin unit wont take the Navionics card!
@robalcock63873 жыл бұрын
@@excessivefishingaustralia2849 yeah I was disappointed with that but not worried enough to upgrade the unit straight away. Cheers for the reply

What about getting wet while riding? Is a wetsuit required when riding in cold water or is it possible to just tone down the driving and not get wet?
@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan. Thanks for watching.Nah toning down the riding doesnt help, the wind blows the spray on you even at slow speeds, so winter time its wetsuit time!!

@@dannelboy1 Yeh COVID sucks alright, I think we have got off relatively lightly. Australia is so beautiful, you will love every part of it, and the fishing and camping is top notch. As soon as you are able to, come here, even if it’s the only place you travel to, you won’t regret it👍🍻🎣

Great video mate...exactly what I was looking for. I'm putting my order in tomorrow....one question though. What does the boss think about the passenger seat? The GTX has an awesome seat for pillions, but the FP has that wide flat pillion seat. Great for fishing off, but how does it go for touring two up? Cheers!

Hey mate just wondering what’s the legal distance we can go out on a jet ski?
@excessivefishingaustralia28493 жыл бұрын
Hi mate and thanks for watching, the only ski that can go out offshore is the seadoo fish pro due to its length being classed as 3.8m long.
