Great commentary. I’m waiting for the build of a diesel version of the Octavia. I was interested in the PHIV but would have cost me £7k more for the same spec car

Great car but avoid the iV model its pointless! Get the diesel if your in the UK as for at least another 5 to 10 years we won't have the infrastructure for lots of EV charging points on our motorway network!

Get a diesel and you wont be able to drive it into most cities in the UK within the next 2-3 years. I live on the outskirts of a city that is about to ban them which would make a diesel pointless.
