Very nice, good review thanks. The Australians just keep bringing stuff to market that is legitimately geared to off road use, and appears at least ostensibly to be of good construction. My clock is running down in a need to buy a trailer, but the market seems to evolve so quickly. $40k seems a little strong but when you consider what is on the market made in USA that is comparable, they are no less expensive. Thanks again.

@The Osborns I looked at that exact trailer 2 days ago. As it is honestly used I casually inspected it for loose fasteners etc. There was none present. Currently waiting on specs for the X12 but will almost certainly buy one or the other (9 or 12). I didn't know this trailer existed until I saw Scott's review, thankyou very much @Expedition Portal

The US dealer for these trailers is out of business. After owning an X12 for 6 months an 11,000 miles of use, I can only recommend that anyone considering buying one contact me for real world experience with this brand prior to purchasing.

outstanding overview - just one editorial note: the videography advice on not looking at the camera, and hence the viewer, is ill-advised. It's distracting and annoying (at least to me). I hope this is a trend that will go away. When you are looking at the viewer it is much more impactful.

Too much effort on “KZbin sophisticate” videography and editing- not enough on showing the trailer.

Scott's gotten rusty, acceptable for a veteran overlander :) to me it just seemed a bit dark on lighting

They really need to come down on the prices of these trailers.... Its industry wide.... There's no reason the Trailer should cost anywhere near as much as the tow vehicle. Even if this was $20k that's still a very pricy investment

$35k+ seems excessive for China import trailer. Not knocking China products but could be USA made for same or less… good luck and hope it grows in the US!
@TrailAdventuresTV3 жыл бұрын
Exactly. These suppliers fool some people. But not everyone. Alibaba special $15k. 100% mark up

@The Osborns Thansk for the information, I have seen the same model with different name on Alibaba. Many of the AUS manufactures have them built in China and imported. I couldn’t find anything on the offroadrvs website stating made in AUS or anything supporting it. I don’t have an issue with it as 90% of the stuff we use in the US is imported. The price for an import trailer is high in my opinion, but to be fair US made RVs are WAY BS too. Manufacturing costs are low, the middle men get the money not the US workers… either way, cool product and look forward to seeing it in person.

I inspected this exact trailer 2 days ago. I have no doubt in 2021 that somewhere in it is a Chinese component, but it is not apparent and the overall build quality is very good. I also have no doubt that the Chinese would knock it off, or create a sale page to diminish its value.

@@thechappie Alot of the Chinese manufacturers copy Australian Campers
@frednirk48242 жыл бұрын
@@thechappie Ive been to the factory and seen them made: not Chinese. a good indicator is the weight. High quality build, well engineered and about half the weight. I commonly see caravans/campers built in australia, a year or two later a copy appears on aliexpress. I have one on order!

It's nice and a good looking trailer, but 40k, no true independent suspension, I'm assuming no ac for my significant other I dunno. I do like it though.

It does not have A/C. That tends to be very power hungry.
