Got my 2018 STI new. Never modified it. When I get excited, I hit maybe 6k-6.5k rpm highest. I set my rev limiter sound thing to 5.5k. I drive like an old man. Currently at 40k miles and not a single issue. It is an awesome daily driver. I hated driving in traffic before I got this. Now I don't even care about anything happening. Every second of driving is amazing. I have a borla s type catback exhaust, it has mufflers. It's loud but not obnoxious. And decently quiet while cruising. It makes driving even more better.

Glad the car is treating you well 👍 if you have a road trip coming up, I’d recommend double checking the psi on your spare tire just in case. I had a blowout on my 2019 STI last week (2 month old tire) and was able to limp it to my destination and back home on the spare. Checked my spare tire’s pressure after I got home and it was at 25psi and was supposed to be at 60psi 😣

The highest mpg I got in my Sti was 30 mpg. I had to follow my wife when she was towing a trailer so we’re stayed at 55 the entire time. I ended up getting 380 miles that tank. I fill up at a quarter tank so not sure how many more I would have got. Typically I see 14-16 city 20-22 highway.

Awesome! Definitely keep it stock power wise but mod it for more reliability. AOS and Cylinder 4 cooling mod will help keep the motor running smooth. Let’s keep the last of a legend reliable.
