2021 Subaru STI - Remark Catback Sound Clips and Impressions: WOW!

Nice!! Can't wait for mine to arrive. Not the same brand but definitely cannot wait. You car sounds so good. The only thing is...if you ever go with a downpipe to go faster I think it might be a tad bit lad for my taste. But the way it is now...sexy AF!! Install it yourself?

Just bought a 2021 STI after months of researching! Was gonna do Mustang GT or challenger but my mom thought i was gonna pepperoni myself in them lol I need an exhaust now! and do the F1 style tailight as well and that is it, already got tint on it.

Thanks for sharing this man - i had the exact same color and remark muffler delete, i was worrying the full catback would be too much so decided to start with small steps, i dont see any back fire for you, i was thinking it would do that when you have catback?

Nah it doesn’t backfire since it’s just a catback. Maybe turbo back will but I don’t have any intentions on doing that

Wish I could have sold you my setup. I have this exact same exhaust combo and took it off as the drone was too much for my daily highway commute (constant 60-80mph speeds). Currently trying to sell to get something with mufflers, it does sound very beastly though, I give it that. Especially under WOT. Great videos, just subscribed 👍

Thanks! I think the Q300 might be an option to look into. I test drove a used STI few months back that had it and there was 0 drone. Only downside is it’s just slightly better than stock, unless that’s exactly what you’re looking for

I was thinking of an AWE Touring or ETS Quiet. Gotta sell my current exhaust setup first to justify a whole new setup. Want something louder than stock, but no drone on the highway. Some people have said Borla is a decent setup too.

Thanks man. I think it’ll def be a lot louder if you go with the non-resonated midpipe like I did (esp with an aftermarket down pipe). I’d probably go with a resonated midpipe which will still be pretty loud but not as obnoxious as non-resonated

Im thinking of piecing some parts together for my exhaust set up, but everywhere i look it says 2015-2020, is there a difference in the 2021, or can i fit the older pieces onto it?

Hey guys does anyone know if this midpipe bolts up too the stock downpipe or do we need to remove the donut gasket any help would be appreciated I currently have the axleback but have this on the way to make it a full catback

did you try the axelbck with the Sti mid pipe first? If so, was it loud?

I put it on all at the same time. From the research I’ve done, just the axleback gives you a bit more than stock but really the sound opens up with the midpipe

2yrs too late - but if theres others out there wondering - the abe on the sti midpipe is definitely louder than stock, but is not that loud. It’s not going to blow out ears or anything. Your neighbors shouldnt be calling cops on you. I would say its quieter than any full aftermarket cbe I’ve ever heard.
