I just bought one. Highly impressed. This is my FIRST High end vehicle. The ride is smooth, no blind spots the computer doesn't handle and for a person who has had 4 Tacoma's before this, it's is definitely a heavier machine. I've loved my Tacoma's 95, 99, 07, and 15, I thought I'd bite the bullet and move up... I'm glad I did. As for the gas mileage going from a Tacoma 4x4 4door 5ft bed to a 4RUNNER LIMITED its 1 sometimes 2 miles per gallon different. Basically the same. I'm keeping it for 2 years and will trade it in on the 2024 Toyota 4RUNNER. They are do to come on December of 2024, but you never buy the 1st year of anything. Happy with my new 2022 4RUNNER LIMITED? I'm going to vote YES!

90k, I have been with Lexus for over 8yrs as a technician so I only recommend Toyota and Lexus to friends and family. I have plenty of U.S. Union friends that constantly give me a hard time but the proof is in the miles. #LexusTechKC

The GX460 is a great truck yes truck. Most of our customers think that any Lexus should ride like a LS but this is not the case. The biggest complaint I hear is the ride is rough. But overall it’s a great SUV with more insulation for noise dampening then my 4RUNNER.

I feel silly asking this, I bought the 2021 LImited Nightshade edition today, can I take it off roading? I mean it is a 4wd. What does it limit? What can’t I do with this car that other 4Runner’s can do?

Yes you can take it off reading. The panels are a little lower on this nightshade model and the tires may not be the best for off-roading but it is possible to go off-road with this vehicle. Thanks for watching!

One thing you don't mention is that all 4Runners are built in Japan, at the Tahara factory in Aichi that is generally considered Toyota's best. Most of its workers have been there for decades. The other vehicles they build in this plant are Lexuses. The 4Runner is basically a Lexus. The sound of a door shutting is rock solid and it's incredibly quiet on the road at highway speeds - much less wind noise than any vehicle that I've owned and my last car was a Lexus RX 350.

It’s an anti-theft measure Toyota has taken to prevent someone from driving away with your vehicle. It’s like that in a lot of models. Including mine! They’ve been doing that for some time now. As far as I know that’s what it is for. Thanks for checking out my channel! 👍

I currently own a 2014 4 runner and have never stopped loving it. I have been shopping for a 2021 4 Runner and its a mirror image of what I already have. There are two things I wish were different- I wish the back gate had a motor lift. I also wish it had a height you could stop the back gate from lifting, because mine is scratched from touching the garage door while I am unloading groceries. I had to replace the rear Totota 4 Runner nameplate because of the scratches. The feature I love the most is the ease of driving and the ability to see all around while driving.
