Good video. I have the 2020 Highlander Platinum and love it. Just brought it in for an oil change service and they found that I picked up a nail on my rear tire that I have to deal with now. So I watched your video of you dealing with replacing one of your tires which I may just have to do if they won't fix the tire. Thanks for posting/sharing your Highlander experiences.

I just purchased the same exact year, model, and color as yours. 27576 miles. Toyota man since 1986 when I bought a 78 Corolla Liftback.

Wow, the 78 Corolla lift back is one that’s on my list to own. I’ve had many different Toyotas and Datsuns over the years, and haven’t been able to get my hands on the lift back. It needs to be an SR5 Pkg. so far our 21 has been pretty good. Any problems I’ve had are on the channel and I will produce videos on any I have and most likely any maintenance that I have to do. I bought a Corolla SR-5 liftback back in 1980 brand new and kept it for almost 20 years. I don't understand why they didn't keep making them!! It was a multiuse vehicle!! BTW, I saw this video because I just bought a 13 Highlander so I'm finally back in the Toyota family and Loving it!!

If you have that volume issue again with CarPlay, just push the on and off switch on the radio itself (turn off then turn on) and it’ll work right away.

Hello! Have you been experiencing wind noise at the speed of 50, 55, to 65mph in a highway? Also one more thing, have you noticed the air condition is kind of noisy?

I haven’t had issues with either of these issues. But I have heard others with the wind noise complaint. Is it a whistle?? I recently saw that they had a fix if it’s a high pitched whistle, depending on the model.

Im selling my 2022 platinum caramel interior the sunroof gasket won’t close flush and the air conditioning is excessive noisy. I like it a lot but in the future it will be a hassle. I may buy a sienna

@@lawrencegamble1951 I do still have it. The only thing I have had a problem with is once it had a TPWS error, (the tire pressure monitor system) it couldn’t read the sensors. I got in the owners manual, there was a process to reset it, it was straightforward and worked perfectly. That only happened once. Ive done oil changes, air filters, and a transmission service. I also recently replaced the factory tires. Still on factory brakes. The rotors have a slight warp to them, but it has 68k on it now so I’d kind of expect that. It is on all factory brake pads. I have a play list on my channel labeled 21 Toyota Highlander with 28 Videos I’ve done on it since we owned it. So far so good, I’ve been keeping up with what’s going on with the 8spd transmission. There has been some issues with them. Mine has been just fine. My wife and I have been nearly coast to coast, our first road trip, 5000 miles, we were 2 hrs from California, and I went to Orlando once and we drove to Charlotte NC both of those trips were 1500 miles each.

My 2020 Highlander Hybrid XLE fogs up within 5 minutes of driving... snow or rain. WTX

I’ve heard others with this complaint. Have you had it checked?? Generally this is caused by an AC drain that isn’t draining. Our 21 has not had any issues with this.
