Remember these are commercial vehicles and the road tax for these is half what you'd pay on Range rover. They should be compared with something like a Ford transit rather than a soft roader like hyundai. Bought an 8yr old hilux invincible with hardtop a few weeks ago, absolute go anywhere beast

Because a Hilux doesn't fit in some people's driveways in some parts of the UK. Here in Asia there are some parking buildings that cannot fit a pickup truck.

Visit Australasia where Hilux and Ranger have been the top selling vehicles for the last several years. In fact in Australia, the Ranger outsells the Fiesta and Focus about 50:1, and the VW Golf about 8:1

Correct. I am not sure what the introduction is about. The Nissan and Mitsubishi are indeed gone. The new ranger is coming to the Uk, since the Ranger has become the best selling truck in the UK. I expect the platform sharing Amarok sibling to be available too

The ford ranger and vw amarok are going to be replaced next year the only pickup leaving is the Mitsubishi L200 but that's because Mitsubishi stopped exporting cars to Europe this year.

The Invincible X is chosen by many, and is a great car. Yes, a workhorse, but very comfy, safe and capable. Long journeys are a joy, the 2.8 engine is powerful, it will tow anything, and my daughter says the sound system is fantastic. I recommend the auto box,, more powerful and relaxing to use

I'm here only to check orange colour... what is she talking about, parking spaces in front of supermarket etc... this is legendary vehicle,though as it gets ,used by paramilitary units , special forces, workers ..and now we must worry how we will park in front of supermarket hahaha..just buy a minivan and make sure you get home on time ...omg. next do a tractor review and explain to us how it is not good for everyday use around town. And make a review of one of the best off road vehicle in the world by showing grocery bag hook on the back seats... omg really?

I think the Taco is much wider than the HiLux, which felt very cramped compared to a Silverado. Though it has more security equipment. It would be interesting to see if Land Rover makes a full size pickup.

They make these bigger than they need to be puts me off I had a 2005 Ford Ranger crew cab and it was perfect for work and home I had this from 2005 to 2020. repair bills £100 per year servicing And one repair bill of £500 new brake pads & calipers The new ones too big Tailgates are rubbish as they do not fold down any more , so the idiots loading up damage the back by running into them with a forklift truck Wake up pick up manufacturers We don’t need all the tech and rubbish you put on to bump up the price How about a basic truck for work

Well really to be honest who actually cares or even buys a pickup in England? A van has more and safer load space, the same payload capacity, some vans have 4x4 capabilities and the same towing capacity. And if you get a crew van it's family friendly

I’ve got one on order, work in Forestry so often down very muddy tracks. A van is much better for load space but unless I was to get one of the awesome Iveco 4x4’s none would suit. Would love one of them but cost and size are the issue.
