7kg/100km with this the Mirai can drive 80km with 140kmh, the Midle 3 Performance cna drive 180km with 250kmh. Even if you say 5kg its 100km of range.

I agree. Don't drive anything here, but was saddened that fuel cells didn't make it. Toyota still makes this car in 2023 which is awesome. Fuel cells would work better for semi trucks though. Man, Japanese engineering + smooth roads in Germany = best thing ever. :)

@@thatguyalex2835 I believe there was a very small chance of FCEV cars making it, before Tesla started it's expansion. The problem is that unlike Tesla, Toyota wasn't willing to build up hydrogen infrastructure for a loss. If they had subsidised the refuelling infrastructure and electrolysis plants it might have worked. As you know Tesla invested a lot of money into superchargers even before Teslas became that popular.

Currentl there are about 100 Hydrogen Fuel stations in Germany with more in planning

180 km/h is faster than most trains in the US, and would be considered semi-high speed rail elsewhere. :) So, yeah, this is fast. Most small airplanes like the Cessna 152/172 cruise at this speed (a little under 100 nmi/h).
