Gotta say that the quick steering rack makes such a difference in daily driving. On my golf it’s one turn to lock and that in combination with the flat bottom wheel makes it feel so much sportier without being uncomfortable

Because it has no Toyota character in it, that's why. As a car, it is objectively good. Fantastic, even. As a Toyota, it's empty because it doesn't behave like a Toyota sports car and it doesn't demonstrate any of Toyota's considerable engineering prowess. A de-contented LC500 would make a better Supra, even without the I6.

Seems like that RPM gauge is programmed to “react” faster than the car actually shifts. Probably to give the illusion/impression that the transmission shifts faster than it really does (though it IS a quick shifting trans). Interesting.

bubberlad - Now that you say that, I DO recall noticing this in a few other models. I had an i3 a few years ago, and would routinely get BMW loaners, because the i3 was in service so much (lol). Anyway, the 3/4 series and x1/2 cars they would always give me would do this as well.

Hi Chris. You have tested the Supra, RC-F and M2C now. All great videos BTW. From your experience behind the wheel, which one would you pick if it was your money and why? I am conflicted. I have also looked at LC500, because the prices for those already seem reasonable on the used market and they are good looking cars. I keep leaning toward the three with back seats, because of the kids. I would like them to take joy rides with me, but how usable are the back seats in RC-F and LC500? They seem reasonable in M2C. Looking forward to your reply.

Hey Boris, I would rank the RC-F as my top choice, absolutely love that car. The back seats are usable, unlike the LC500s. The M2 probably has the most rear seat room. And of course if you want the fully practical option the GS F is amazing. I probably prefer this Supra to the M2, just slightly. But my money would go to the RC F or GS F. That 5.0 V8 is incredible 👍

I did drive the RC-F and I absolutely loved it, but it was a short test drive so I was not sure if it was just the excitement of the first drive or if it was that good. I did drive the Supra too. I liked it, but RC-F did excite me more, but the drives were a year a part so it was hard to tell. I did not drive the GS-F or the M2C, but I always drool when I see the GS-F which is not often. The M2C is on the list mostly because of the manual. I would be selling my S2000 and Camry and just use one of the above as my daily.

@@bcvijasiu I drove the Supra and the RCF within 10 mins apart. Both cars are comfy but the the RCF feels more like a heavy cruiser and the Supra feels more sporty. Also the transmission shifts are faster in the Supra but overall acceleration feels similar with the Supra feeling a bit faster. Both has their pros and cons and can't really go wrong with either one.

People complain about the buffeting with the windows down. Yes its annoying and totally unacceptable for Toyota to not address this.., HOWEVER, there are wind deflectors that mount to the inner mirror triangle piece. This solves the buffeting completely. The supra has a few first model issues like all new sports cars inevitably do. I still love it though. I just wish it had an awd option. The rear end can get overly dramatic sometimes.
