I have the same AirDesign Flares. Got them about 11 months ago and really like them. Just noticed 3 of 4 flares are starting to pull away from the fender. Have you had any loss of adhesion?

I always worry about them damaging the paint over time since they are touching the surface along with them catching dirt.

After three years of use I finally removed them , I took it off roading and muddying several times and I was surprised with the minimal damage to the surface. Only passenger side had some very small minor scratches but overall worth it 🙌🏼

@@brianvazquez6854 How did you remove the 540 sealant from the painted fender without damaging the paint. 3m tape removal is easy, but not sure about the 540 sealant.

@@steveemerzian believe or not by hand 😅 it was really hot so with my thumb I would like roll it against any residue being left. Had a huge blister but was definitely worth it.

@@brianvazquez6854 I used an eraser wheel from amazon. went slow, light pressure and it removed all the 540 adhesive without any damage to the paint. I will never put fender flares back on it.

It’s .75 wider. It protects the truck from rock chips and the end has a wing that catches most of the flying rocks. But I still do hear one hit the door every once in a while. But I went with these so my tires still looked bulky and wider then the truck

I don’t know for sure but I think they’re just double sided tape holding them on. Some of the bug guards are just tape also

3M automotive grade tape, the same kind used on hood protectors nowadays, and on body emblems. As long as you prep the surface good, sticking them on is a breeze.
