Lots of people making fun on the Tiguan but I own one from 2020 and let me tell you this with the turbocharged engine and sport mode it has as well can go to manual to automatic. This SUV is faster than the charger hellcat I had which basically had 350HP but it didn't feel like it compared to the Volkswagen Tiguan I have with 184 HP. I already beat muscle cars in this. Only cars that beat me was a Tesla model S, Honda civic, GTI, GTL, Trackhawk, and a Nissan Altima with some crazy engine I never seen before. Don't sleep on this new model of the car

I own a 2020 Tiguan (base model) and I can tell you that it is the most fun car I have ever driven, and fast too!

Everyone's hating on that CUV (or whatever you wanna call it), but I bet if it was shaped like a 'real' sports car and acted the same way, people wouldn't be complaining. I'm surprised how little body roll there is (but it is an R, so I bet that changes a lot). Still, I wish there were more small cars on the road.

I think it's also ridiculous but it's probably because people wanted cargo space, comfort and performance all at once. But most performance suv's are so expensive you'd be better off having a fun car and a suv for space.

AHR Red You must be joking right?? Everybody needs that extra power for example at overtaking and it doesnt matter if on a sedan or even on an SUV. Then it might be a question of life and death when you are overtaking for 5 seconds or 10 seconds

Well the tiguan is the most popular car in the vw line up in the uk and most over countrys so I don't see it being a disaster
