I own an S90 in T5 trim with lots of custom work. I'm glad there's people like you to call out scarcity in the public forum. It makes mine that much rarer and undeceiving. Many a hellcat and merc s500 have f*cked around and found out.

As an auto journalist, he puts a request in for a car with the manufacturer and if they feel like it, they let him have a car for a certain amount of time. If he is too critical or speaks too unfavorably about the car, he might not get a car from the brand in the future....his reviews are nice, but must be taken in context and you have to come to your own conclusions

I don't understand why volvo is one of the only ones making digital spedometers that don't skip number. It gives such a cheap feeling when an expensive mercedes refreshes its speed two times a second.

A lot of cars have digital speedometers that don’t skip numbers. Chevy is another example. My Volt updates the instruments at probably about 10-15 FPS which is plenty - more than that and you get into really annoying digital aliasing/hysteresis issues.

The interiors do change. This interior is from the 2014 concept coupe. The next interior will be from the 2020/2021 concept recharge. The exteriors have changed as well. The Thors hammers were introduced in 2015. Before that Volvos didn't have the distinctive headlights. Volvo will be redesigning their interiors quite a bit starting with the "Embla" that comes out later this year.
