You don't have to lift the car to get to the work areas? Will the oil drain completely if you use a set of ramps?

I find there is enough room to do the oil change without lifting the vehicle. And yes you will still get most of the oil out if on ramps, that is fine.

Did I miss something? Why do u need to change the washer on the drain bolt?
@CarsYouCanFix2 күн бұрын
Drain bolt washers are a one time use item. It's good practice to change them every time.

@CarsYouCanFix interesting. All the mechanics I've ever been to. None ever mentioned. What size does this vehicle need?
@CarsYouCanFix20 сағат бұрын
@kojam1 with this oil filter the new washer comes with it. Not sure the exact size for this one, but a washer kit on Amazon should have the right one.

Gracias, el aceite es una marca de tienda pero el STP es bueno. El vehículo consume unos 5,8 litros de aceite.

На панели лежит коврик из ткани. Есть эффект от него? Панель меньше нагревается от солнца ?

Let it drain all the way!!!

Might get another ounce or 2 if you have the time to wait until it stops dripping.

What year is this particular Tucson ? Edit: You did say it was a 22 yr. There were reports of oil pan issues on these, either stripped out threads from over torquing , bad gasket sealing or oil pan thickness manufactured too thin which results in a cracked pan. Your pan appeared to bend / flex when you torqued it at @1:44 mark. You torqued it correct but it moved anyway.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up on this issue!
