Throttle body (drive by wire) is located between plastic IC discharge tube and intake manifold, not before turbo inlet.

I have a 2024 Tucson hybrid with a pinging sound. I would like to keep the engine running in park so I could open the hood and check out the engine while it is running. Do you know the secret to do this? Thanks for you help.

@@gregscott8379 No. I brought the car to the dealer and they suggested trying a different gas. I did with no difference. Since then it has gotten cold out and the noise has gotten less noticeable. I'll bring it back when the weather get warm again.

Does the electric motor turn at all times the wheels are turning? The ICE motor has a clutch that disengages it from the transmission, but the electric motor does not.

I have a 2023 Hybrid Tucson. WHere is the large hybrid battery located? I assume its under the rear seat like the Toyota. I am not very good with cars. I have a Prius V and I have to change the battery air filter by the rear seats every few thousand miles. Does the Tucson have the same? Thank you. I appreciate your help.

Hybrid battery is located under the rear seat. Check your owners manual regarding any kind of a filter.

The cooling air intake for the battery is at the front center of the rear seats. I'm not aware of any filter for that.

@@TDTVGarage but still serviceable? there is a port to feed in new fluid after draining trans fluid right? there has to be.

If you have the tools and expertise. Point is, the auto manufacturers made a decision about 20 years ago they don't want customers monkeying around with their automatic transmission fluid. This is because it was costing them huge in warranty repairs/replacements because most people aren't smart enough not to muck things up.

@@TDTVGarage lol yeah that aint it at all, mechanics know and will reject warranty claim if you run trans low on fluid or muck it up with corn oil. they removed and sealed the trans so it will wear out, not replacing fluid every 30k will ruin trans. and when they say life time they mean after 5 years or 100k that trans is done, kaput lifetime over buy another car or trans.
