2022 Audi E-Tron SUV Review

Tesla Model 3 owner here for 4.5 years and I have an E-Tron coming any day (it is “at the port”). I have grown tired of Tesla’s lack of quality and I’m looking forward to getting the Audi. No concerns about the lost range. Tesla overstates and you don’t get close to the range. My understanding is Audi is more accurate on their estimate. Further to that though, my daily commute is 70 miles round trip and the benefit to EVs is home charging so the range is a non-issue.

Your review was spot on. I drove one of these last year and loved it. And call me old school, but I want a sunroof (that you can open) and you get this with the eTron. They just need to amp up on the range, or number charging stations. Will likely buy in 2023/24.

Yes the range could be better, I'd like an additional 50 miles or so, but setting that aside, it's a very solid choice. We've got a Tesla Model Y review coming up shortly so that'll be interesting in comparison. Thanks for watching!

@@donvanvliet9477 true. I just think with the cost (59,900, when I purchased my Y Performance at the end of 2021) and the charging infrastructure, you can't beat the tesla.

So assuming it's gonna cost about 30 bucks for full charge ? Also doesn't audi come with 2 years of complimentary charging at electrify America?.

$25-$30 is the range I would assume. As far as the free for 2 years. I THINK Audi is still offering that but I’m not 100% certain.

Just wait till all the Tesla chargers open up to all EVs , which is the plan. Will be a game charger.

I really hope that's the plan. It's the only reason why I have the Tesla Model Y. I love the etron but I'm so limited on where I can go.

I get you’re doing a car review, if you compare other reviewers, they typically drive “spirited” on deserted back roads. Weaving in and out of traffic at 80mph is irresponsible. You guys do you, just my opinion.
