Yes it does! Since there is no engine, it’s not called remote start. It is called preconditioning.

It’s disappointing my year and trim don’t have TPMS or illuminated seatbelt buckles. Otherwise I am super satisfied with my purchase.

I’m curious how the e-compare to the q4. I see them both as ev and wondered if just the styling is different. Is it safe to say the e-tron looks more like the q5 or q8 and the q4 is it’s own vehicle?

The Q4 e-tron is an A segment car, meaning it is an entry level vehicle. The e-tron is a C segment car, meaning more executive and more luxurious.

Great walk around! I love watching your enthusiasm for Audi! I just picked up my Glacier White Chronos in April and LOVE it so much. It’s really sharp with the black and white contrast. Has a surprising lack of storage for the driver for an EV and the cup holders are horrible- no getting around that, they are just horrible (tiny!) but I thought I would have range anxiety and I don’t at all. It’s a super car to drive!

Nice informative video. I have 2019 e-tron and I love it so far. I have some questions though 1 - How come your range is > 250 miles? I never saw range more than 220 miles ( after their latest software update ). I know temperature and some other factors can affect the range but even at optimum condition and with good driving practice, my range is always

Thank you! I’m so glad to hear you love your e-tron! For the 2019s, the EPA range was 202 miles. Now the EPA range is 222 miles. But most of my customers see much more than that when they charge for long trips. Audi says to not charge to 100% for daily use. But you can FOR SURE charge to full 100% for long trips when you need the extra range We currently use over the air updates. Those are only for maps and Audi connect. The other updates take hours sometimes days at the dealership and cannot be interrupted. So I don’t think those kind of updates will ever be over the air. Yes, if you have a prestige you should be able to see the direct TPMS sensors.

The e-tron’s homelink is on the main screen. Swipe down from the top. However, the 2022 Audi Q4 e-tron does not have homelink.

Why would you NOT want the sunroof? If you don’t want it just don’t use it I would think. It has the automatic visor too so keeps the sun out unlike some other competitors

@@starplatinum8266 just googled it. Pretty slick looking! Wonder if you could do to the glass and have it behind the visor with the same effect. I am all about a sunroof/moonroof personally, so didn’t understand why you/one wouldn’t want a car to have one.

@@dhunter419 wouldn’t look good if they were to do it behind the visor and would be messed up just because the lights consist of thousands of long spaghetti strands that have to be poked through a fabric and if someone where to open your sunroof if would be moving around too much of the hardwiring thats on top and potentially mess up the entire light system. I like this Audi but im only looking at options right now until they unveil the electric Porsche Macan next year. Hope its a better upgrade from this (range wise)

We are waiting on our e-tron-55, but it's not a Chronos Edition. It's a S-line Edition with Black Line package. There isn't a Chronos Edition avaliable in Europe I think? At least visually our going to look exactly the same as this one. We are missing, Digital Matrix LED, HUD, windows shades, full-leather seats, buckle lights, soft closing doors... Oh well, I think we are going to be happy with our car anyway. Thanks for the professionally presentation of the e-tron 55 (2022).

They seem to have issues with rain and just a few drops can cause the driver to not be able to use them completely. Also, they can cut out and the display is not as clear as just regular mirrors.. In summary, they need quite a bit of work.

@@emilytheaudinerd That is incorrect I'm afraid. Audi reckon they add a mile or two to range. The power usage is microscopically small and the power needed to heat the lens is less than needed to heat a traditional heated wing mirror.

@@IBmisspeppermint I dont agree, having had them for 18 months. Visibility in rain is far better because the camera lens is inset and doesnt really get wet. The screen is inside and is enhanced to improve visibility according to conditions. A traditional wing mirror gets wet and you have to look at them through a wet window. This doesnt apply to the e-mirrors. I had a loan etron a while ago with traditional mirrors, I coudnt wait to get the e-mirrors back!

Hey, guess what!!!! If you could somehow get ahold of that car at night you could be THE FIRST PERSON on KZbin to demo the different welcome/goodbye light patterns! I should know. I checked. Nobody has a demo using an actual car -- not the Chronos nor the S8 -- just renderings using animated cars. You could show what it looks like on fixed objects in front of it then show how they look projected onto the road. Come on, Emily!! You can do it!!!

Can't believe how cumbersome that charging hook-up is! Poor design. Also, I question your comment about how aerodynamic the eTron is. It has a Cd f 0.30, quite high, which partly accounts for the low efficiency of this vehicle. (The high weight is the other big contributor.)

I have put several thousand miles on an e-tron and a couple hundred on a Q4 now. I can say I much prefer the e-tron's charging door and location. (the Q4's charging door is in the rear with s standard flap like a gas door).

When last we spoke, you were working on getting those digital matrix lights -- w/projectors -- on the E-tron GT, which should have had them from the jump. One of the DUMBEST omissions in the history of car-making, btw. So what's the status on that lol?

I was hoping they would put them on yes, however it seems they still haven’t. My dad just picked up his RS e-tron GT and it doesn’t have them either. They did however add them to the new S8!!

This is what kills me about companies, EVs are popular so they jack up the price to maximize profits. Isn’t this a Q4 model that falls in between Q3 and Q5! If so, shouldn’t pricing fall in between them yet this is priced above both and you need to spend additional money to put charging infrastructure at your home? Until pricing comes in line with ICs just not an option to me but I will say nice looking car.

It would have been well worth your while to have come back at night, after the dealership was closed, just to demonstrate that alone. I totally agree, but I’m working with what I have. The dealership will not let me come back later. It was either try it in the dusk hour or not do it at all 😪
