Mehrweg-Investition Veltins installiert neue Abfüllung Die Brauerei Veltins kommt beim Bau ihrer neuen Mehrweg-Abfüllung gut voran. In das neu errichtete Gebäude mit sechs Ebenen wird seit Anfang März die Anlagentechnik installiert. Zwei moderne Abfülllinien vom Getränkeanlagen-Spezialist Krones finden in dem Neubau Platz. Die gerade installierte hat eine Kapazität von 50.000 Flaschen pro Stunde und soll Mitte 2022 in Betrieb gehen. Eine zweite Abfülllinie, die bis zu 80.000 Glasflaschen pro Stunde verarbeiten kann, folgt im Herbst 2023. Während diese künftig eine bestehende Anlage ersetzen soll, wird die erste für eine größere Flexibilität benötigt. Das ist laut Brauerei auch dringend notwendig, denn in den vergangenen Jahren wurde die Produktvielfalt größer und im Handel stieg die Nachfrage nach den Marken Veltins, Grevensteiner und Pülleken. „Gerade in den Frühlings- und Sommermonaten, der Hochsaison für Bier, brauchen wir mit unseren Abfüllkapazitäten mehr Luft, um flexibler auf die Bedürfnisse des Marktes reagieren zu können. Mit den neuen Anlagen wird es eine spürbare Entlastung geben“, sagt Technik-Geschäftsführer Peter Peschmann. Die 50.000er Linie füllt künftig das gesamte Flaschensortiment der Brauerei ab, mit Fokus auf Steinie-Flaschen. Diese Linie enthält für die Biermischgetränke einen Pasteur, ansonsten ist sie identisch zu der zweiten, größeren Anlage, die im Herbst 2023 aufgestellt wird. Der Bau des Neuen Abfüllgebäudes begann 2020. Insgesamt über 54 Millionen Euro investiert das Unternehmen in modernste Anlagentechnik. 👉🏿🪖
