This is my favorite review so far. I liked seeing it from afar on the water, really helped me understand the size of the boat. Thanks boat trader 😃

Are your parents pretty happy with the boat after a year? I'm digging how simple they are. Nothing to learn about, very little to break down.

This review is missing a lot of info. What's the top speed with the 40hp? How's the plane time? How is rough water handling? Can we see footage of traversing waterways in harsh conditions? How is low speed maneuverability? Do you have ways to test that against other boats? How is high speed tight turning & cavitation? How is the NVH? Can you measure dbi at cruise speed, idle and WOT? Can you measure hull thickness? How about hull sidewall flex? How about Bimini flex at-speed? This feels more like a feature overview video than a review. A review needs to give pros and cons and go over tests and performance. The written review is also missing a lot (this has been a problem with boat review articles for years.) You guys just don't go into enough detail and seem to shy away from giving constructive criticism of watercraft. The reviews are always same-y feeling. There's a huge opportunity for you guys to stand out and step up your game, especially with boating starting to take off again.

Thanks for your feedback. Our walkthrough videos are meant to show the boat from stern to bow and point out key features so that boat shoppers can make their own informed decisions. The specific performance specs you refer to will vary greatly depending on the propulsion package, options and the scenario. That said, we can state that low speed maneuverability of this boat is excellent - she is very nimble and easy to handle for beginners. The full review we link to on our site states that the top speed of this boat (depending on power package and load) is between 25-32 MPH. In terms of your question about harsh conditions, we do not recommend this boat for use in such conditions. Under normal use on a sunny day (what this model boat is intended for) we did not observe any significant hull sidewall flex or Bimini flex but we did experience notable stability throughout tight turns at cruising speeds on calm surfaces. Overall this is a small craft designed to be an agile, family-friendly starter boat - perfect for the lake, inland waterways and perhaps some light coastal cruising in calm weather. It is not intended as a boat for use offshore or in big seas. Thank you for watching, we do take the feedback and we aim to provide the best information on the market when researching your next boat purchase.

The max horsepower for this 1200 pound is 50!!!😮😮😮 Even with the 60 I don't think you'll be impressed. Don't buy a boat like this expecting any kind of performance whatsoever. Be glad if you manage to get on plane

@@boattrader well I've watched a number of the videos by dealers but was excited to see one on the water, so for me I was trying to find out things like top speeds, mpg tested, optimal cruising speeds, how she sits in the water when trimmed, how she handles turns, if it's a wet ride or dry ride, I guess just overall performance on 40 or 50hp. I do hear from my local Bayliner dealer they're coming out with an M17 and M19 version of this so I do looking forward to those videos if you get a chance to review those boats!
@boattrader3 жыл бұрын
@@youtuber19435 Understood! Thanks Andre. If you're on the fence about which power option to choose, consider that the 40 HP should be enough power for many but if you plan on having bigger groups of passengers onboard and heavier loads, we'd recommend upgrading for the optional 50 HP outboard. With the 50 horsepower, top speed is somewhere around 30-32 MPH. She'll hop on plane quickly with either motor, but you'll get there faster with the 50 horses, likely somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 seconds.

@@boattrader Thanks for the response! I actually decided on their newer model the m17 coming out this month after visiting my local dealer on the higher end it comes with a 90hp. I’ll look forward to your review whenever you get your hands on that boat 😉 thanks again!
