I do say it is a really great looking bow. I just wish it was not so pricey with such a week warranty, if you’re so proud of your product and your quality you would truly think he would do more than a two-year warranty. unlike the Bodnik warranty @ 30 years. God Bless

@Todd Reeves Yes sir that is fantastic I am glad to hear that. So do you think they give the same warranty on a second. And also do you think after the two-year warranty is up if you started to get stress cracks in the limbs would they fix or replace the bow. I definitely love my bear bows have quite a few and would definitely love to add this to my collection but will definitely have to go the route of the second floor price. Good review, I just sent my 40# Kodiak back to Bear because of a crack developing on the top limb tip, just got my replacement yesterday and love it. Mine flings cedars with authority and looks beautiful

Looks like Bear is getting back to making not only well made and good looking bows but some of the top people in charge of development at Bear are trying to get more of the bows to look like works of art the way all of the pre-Florida bows with Bear name on bow were made with fiberglass laminate limbs. I mean the 59 Kodiak looked really good like a basic version of a custom bow company but now looks like a work of art. The Bear Grizzly I see having Used more wood grain Walnut that is used on the model for most of those since 2019 and seems like the start of the trend as a friend had a Bear Grizzly or Bear regular Kodiak bow from the late 1980's or early 1990's and the bow looked more like the Mongomery Ward bow you recently reviewed, all plain wood that had little to no grain on the wood used for bow.

Bear in Early to Mid 2010's got caught up like almost every company in the race to the bottom and maximizing profits where companies had bad products unless you bought their top of the line product if they made a top of the line product in that price range. The bows risers from this era tend to fall apart and this just a Bear issu. The other was for all bow companies having one or both issue with the limbs bamboo detach or way off weight but then in 2019/early 2020. Other companies had the same problem as Bear with the Bamboo in either weight changing quick after leaving factory or with some lesser Chinese companies like Deerseesker still having the weight problem mainly in one model as it seems for the one model Deerseeker is still using the old source/old stock of bamboo for a particular bow.

Good suggestion .I have a 45# super kodiak.find it fast and accurate..but I don't have a speed tester. Also have a 40# super grizzly and 50# cheyenne.and use them all often.

Todd, with that 430 grain shaft you are using, is the spine deflection on it a 500 or 600 Thanks for the review, it is quite an impressive looking and shooting bow.

I liked the review but I don't like the difference between 192 and 182 fps. That's or inconsistency in draw length or problems with the reading. Interesting though, the 12gpp arrow reading were more consistent and in the averages for the bow drawn +29"

Yes the bow does prefer the heavier arrows and performs better when I shoot them through the bow

Its fox differential is due to arrow fly through different spots on the chrono !if you want the most accurate reading, you must use radar technology.

Super Kodiak brace height is 8 to 9" and at upper level I find slap is not a problem. Would like to get a new Kodiak in shedua green..liked the reviews.regards
