Fuel consumption is heavily affected by the temperature. Tested on my own car, very noticeable differences.

What is your fuel consumption at 80/100/120/140km/h? At what temperature you drove?

@@andreitanasiev1417 summer to winter (and with winter tyres) , medium consumption has a variation more or less 2-3 kilometers per liter depending how cold is out there, on average highway trip. Colder is the temperature, worse will be the fuel efficiency

@@andreitanasiev1417 I have just bought a 2017 530i xDrive sedan. On my way home, it consumes around 6.1-6.3 l/100 km, which is way less than displayed here, outside temp was around 8 degrees, however I was driving from a higher to lower part of my country, which probably had a positive effect. Still this engine is very, very fuel efficient if you want it to be. 7-8 l/100 km in the city is doable if you are very careful and the traffic is not heavy, 8.5-9.5 is more typical, 10-11 during some traffic, 12-13 in a very heavy traffic jam. The fuel consumption is massively affected by the amount of requested power. If you drive moderately and turbo won't spull up as much, it's gonna be low. But if you will put your right foot down, the consumption will rise severly. In other words: it is very dependent on the traffic and the driver. Engine braking helps A LOT (I am a very experienced eco driver myself).

Zu kleine Räder und keine Tieferlegung.....harmoniert nicht.....das war bei den Vorgängern deutlich besser. Und Tacho ist eine Katastrophe 😢 fahre selbst noch den f11....aber mal schauen, ob der nächste auch wieder bmw wird....schade eigentlich

520d is absolutely unnecessary. This consumption is OK. F11 520d xdrive sucks up 10L easily in moderate city driving. 530xi is a perfect car.

Best for bmw 3 are those 318i with 156hp with fuel consumption.,around 7,5 l at 160kmh is good and max speed are fine of around 220kmh so travel speed 150-170kmh are fine for longer journeys

@@accelerator5524 At -10°C the air density is about 11,4% higher than at 20°C, so the air resistance is also 11,4% higher. The rolling resistance also increases, because the tire pressure is lower at cold temperatures.

@@lennartl.445 in summer at around 100km/h, instant consumption was about 3,8liters/100km. i have driven at temperatures around -10c a few times. once the engine was warm and at the same speed, the instant consumption showed basically no difference. so much for that theoretical math stuff.
