Easily the ballsiest thing anyone played this year.

"ballsiest" might be the wrong word, technically speaking

@@gregothy9190 true… perhaps daring or adventurous would be more appropriate adjectives 🙂

The (second to) last note is a double stop- with a rimshot on right hand and drum on left hand. Genius.

Any tips on how to even approach G? Am I just pulling those 4s out of thin air? That’s probably the hardest chunk of this entire break

@amatillo73332 жыл бұрын
Maybe try checking college level books
@christianstainazfischer2 жыл бұрын
Nah it’s just your school that’s easy, check out what groups like Chino Hills do it’s incredible. Just start learning how to play this, take it super super slow and when you come across a new rhythm or rudiment, find out ways to practice it or even try gridding it. Just slowly become comfortable looking at this difficulty of music

Are you sure the first 3 counts of bar 36 are correct? I feel like its 3 counts of 16th note rolls but I could be wrong here
@JayVx352 жыл бұрын
It’s correct on the transcription. The triplet roll sets up the first shot on the right hand
@lmaoitsmee18122 жыл бұрын
Rhythms are slurred, but it is correct.
@tortillajoe2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it’s quite 4-4-3, it could be 4-7. In either case, the roll starts on the right hand, consists of some combination of 11 notes (including initial tap) over 3 quarter notes, then releases with the left.
@kemin6952 жыл бұрын
I checked in with a Boston battery member I know and they've confirmed its 2 counts of 16th into the triplet. So the trans is indeed correct lol
@johnmillerjr-2 жыл бұрын
@@kemin695 it’s correct, they just slurred it over the season :)

Pretty sure bar F2 is written incorrectly, 99% sure its a copy paste from a bar in red's where it's 3 dutch-a-duz in a row
@zeta12ti7 ай бұрын
Yeah, the flams are on the other hand from what's written. That bar confused me too
