2022 Bowtech SR350 vs 2021 Solution | Compound Bow Review & Speed Test

I love my SR350! It is 6 FPS slower than my old solution with the same arrow. But I do think that it is more dead in hand and definitely quieter. Overall a great bow. I think Bowtech will bounce back next year on speed.

After shooting the solution and sr350 side by side, there is no comparison. The solution draws better, was faster, and held about the same on target. Now the sr350 has a thump at the shot. The solution did not. At 70lbs the sr350 is a bear. The solution was butter. If you want the same performance buy the solution. It won't nail your shoulder at the end of a session. These are the things I wish people would explain. I like that bowtech countersunk the orbit damper into the pockets. But that was about it.

Great bow with a smooth draw, dead and quiet. The only thing that I don't like is the grip and that's personal preference

Absolutely! The grip is a huge deciding factor in whether or not a bow feels right to the shooter.

No one has been able to coax 350 fps out of the SR 350 yet, even with arrows weighing 350 grains. I wonder if Bowtech marketing came up with SR 350 based on what the engineering specs said, only to realize the bow came up 12-15 short of 350 fps once the first lot rolled off the assembly line🤔

Not only is it not hitting 350 fps but on some reviews I’ve seen 311-322 which is embarrassingly slow speeds! I have no idea what Bowtech was thinking.

I use Easton axis 340 spine with 100 grain field points and I use the rage two blade broadheads

I loved the Destroyer 350. Was my hunting bow for years and I took many deer and elk with it. Last year before I took off on my vaca it blew up like a bomb at full draw. Tore brand new string, bent cam, broke Barnsdale limb. Felt like my girlfriend just broke up with me. Just bought a Solution🤞

Excellent review guys. But I agree. With an IBO rating of 350, the SR350 is way underperforming it's IBO ratings

It underperforms only comfort. In performance it slightly underperforms. If it had any other name people would like it. Kind of a bad rap but the mfg set themselves up for it on this one.

@@extremeoutfitters I shot the Elite Omnia yesterday and got 290 @ 28in & 70lbs w/460g Easton 6.5 hunter. The draw felt identical to the Ventum pro 30 I also shot. Such an easy draw for such a fast bow.

Ya that does seem a really slow my rx7 ultra at 29/70 with a 465 grain arrow is shooting 278-280

@@extremeoutfitters absolutely! Only thing is there are many just as good if not better shooting bows that shoot way better speeds! Nothing makes me want to buy one of the new Bowtechs over a Mathews or one of the new Hoyt’s

I have a Bowtech SR6 bought 2020 my bow is faster than than Bowtech 350 . My bow is rated 352 ibo

Great bow very smooth, for me the deciding factor was the grip. Hoyts grip fit me better

Like you say pretty identical bows looks wise. They have Same riser on both and SR-6 . I have the Solution and SR6-Realm, both bows are really smooth..Sr6- is like butter🔥 I like both there draw cycles, much more pleasing then Sr350= super stiff. Only diff is the Solution has more parallel limbs vs 350 has diff angle getting the 33in ATA.. I like my Hoyts the best. Got the New Twin Turbo, that I love. And last yrs Ventum33..
