It can be explained its just hard to pinpoint We tend to just boil it down to the one word "depression" and call it day But each of our minds have a problem with a solution, we just have let ourselves live long enough to find it ❤

it'll be okay...you're not the only one and others understand what you're going through:) It might just be melancholy or something else but it'll be okay. Sometimes people just need to hear that...that things will be okay even if they don't know why things aren't okay now...🫠

that absence of sound just really helps that narrative of no motivation. Instills a sense of emptiness and loneliness. Like there should be something, just something to be the whitenoise in the background. And there is, it's just hidden and quiet.

I am not exactly very creative at deciphering the morals of short films... but when I saw her cry in her own arms it was something very unsettling for me.... I kept away my phone... had a good nap , and I think I get the point now..... Notifications show that there are people who are looking out for her , but the dead in her eyes while scrolling down is something I experience every now and then..... it is like she is mourning the loss of something ....she is grieving and she does not know that ..... but when finally she is able to call her attention to herself,(like i am looking for someone who can look at me , understand my pain , help me , is no one other than me ). all this is said we all know these and words , But actually seeing her mask fall 'before herself',.... actually see her crying/being comfortable in her own arms ....actually seeing her grieve properly around her own company , ...... all this is something i needed to see

I don't think it's the intended mood, but from the moment the character wakes up in this short animation, I felt an alarming sense of peace as the story progressed. Even as the mundane became a shell of fear and dread, it still felt oddly peaceful. Sure, we are given clues to the world around her. But right here, in this moment, alone, nothing else matters except the simplicity that life can be. There, in that simplicity, can we look inward and pull ourselves back to a grounded state. No, you aren't going to die, your scholastic and social pressures aren't going to doom you forever. You are simply alive, and that's what matters. When you realize this you can take one step at a time into life without fear, grounding yourself in that simplicity that is being here and now. And in realizing this; just because you trip and fall, you don't stop walking, you don't stop learning, and absolutely nothing is wrong with that. I hope you find that sense of peace if you haven't yet, thanks for sharing this animation, it's a very personal piece I'd imagine.

Love the animation I took it as the girl ignoring her school and responsibilities in general by being tucked away on her phone. Although I can see how it might be a reference to school isolation instead as that can be just as toxic and self imposing. The alarm really gave me some serious ptsd from all the morning waking up for school to it.

Wow, this is amazing. I found an animation that relates to me, you sit behind a screen and hide how you really feel, unable to tell anyone how you feel because your afraid no one will understand. Ive lost all of my friends, except for one who doesnt even text me much. Im afraid to even talk to them, what if i make a mistake, what if they want to leave me too, ill have no one else. Find the source, find your problem, and dont be afraid to seek help like i do, tell someone, anyone that could be of help.

Relatable. Facing oneself is very hard. That moment where she ignores the messages from someone trying to hang out is so relatable. Depression sucks but this is a great film! It shows that it is important to love oneself hence the moment where she hugged herself.

Beautiful animation!! The ending got me thinking that nowadays people spend so much time online in order to cope with their issues, but it usually only makes us feel worse. Spending time with loved ones and asking them for support is usually way more effective. Or just spending time with yourself without social media and recognizing your needs.

This is pure ART! This topic is so deep and important, every one of us may have something that requires more care, that we are giving... And even tho we can ignore ourselves, those parts will still find their ways to send clues of "help me!" message... I just LOVE how you showed stages of self - ignorance, and then self - acceptance... First, we are tired and frustrated, ignoring our needs and friends, all the help that is given to us... "No, I don't need that!" - we may say. At one point, there's clear sign appears, that we should change - we can see it, it haunts us everywhere more and more, and finally leads to breakdown... That's where the big change starts. The beginning of self - integration, self - honesty! Self love. I wish everyone - and You, the person who reads that - to find love and peace with their inner child ❤It is worth it!

This really touches and speaks to my soul, especially right now when almost everything in my life seems so uncertain lately and I feel the overwhelming anxiety try to take hold of me. That scene near the end when she hugs herself reminds me that I should be gentler on myself and that I need to try and love myself more, especially when going through bouts of depression. It's hard to do so usually but I'm trying and little by little I think it's working. Thanks for making this beautiful animation. It's cathartic, in a way. 💕

I watched this last year and completely forgot about it until it came up on my recommended. Last year, this character wasn’t relatable to me (at least not much) but watching it now, this is how I feel everyday. Even right now I’m rotting away in my room instead of getting school work done. I don’t understand how people can go on living stress-free lives while having even more things on their to-do than I do. I don’t know why I am the way I am, why I can’t handle even the smallest of tasks, or why giving my all is barely anything at all. I wish I could go back to last year, when I didn’t feel the overwhelming stress of everything that I do now. Anyway, sorry for the little vent, this animation is incredible and way too relatable lol
