I bought a new 2023 800 XC February of this year 2024 already has just under 800km on it would have been more but i have a Polaris 500 which i ride too.. The 800 runs like a Cadillac.. only gripe was it was really touchy in low range especially trying to maneuver in tight spaces but bought a primary clutch kit which took care of that.. really happy with the purchase

Great video! I bought my 2022 Cforce 1000 in May and I'm loving it. I've had two minor warranty issues (trunk lid and water pump leak) and my local dealer Canmac in Elmsdale NS got them fixed up right away. The four wheeler is incredibly comfortable, has great standard features and a really good selection of accessories. I have the same rear box as you and also got the front box, bumpers and skid plates. I only heard of the brand in February and it was the pricing that attracted me to them. Like you, real talk power sports was my main source of information along with redneck garage. We need more people like you posting honest reviews. Thank you

Great video, thank you for posting! watched this and many others before shopping. I was looking at the 600 touring but the dealer pulled out the 600 and 800xc and let us test drive both back to back. The 800 felt much smoother. I was torn between the lava orange and the "ghost grey".... grey won out. Very pleased with the machine so far.

Hey Kegg! Congratulations on your purchase! Way to go! So happy for you! I completely agree your choice to go with the 800. They definitely are a step up from the other Cforce series. Nothing against the 400, 500, or 600 … in fact - if and when I get another one, it’ll be a 400 or 500 - but I think that the 800 and 1000’s are really in a league of their own. Thanks Joel, I'll let you know what happens. In 2011 I've crossed USA by motorbike, alone, from Atlantic Ocean (Delaware) to Pacific Ocean (Oregon) on a route that 90% was off road. First italian that did it! Then, in 2013, I got a kind of stroke and I can't drive motorbike anymore. That's why I'm thinking to buy a ATV. Ciao.

I did the same. Blake has some awesome videos as does Steve @ Redneck garage. After ALOT of research, For what I do, the 800xc is perfect. Plenty of power, handles good (for a 900 lb machine) and is super comfortable. I put a stage 2 clutch kit in mine, and had the ECM tuned, and now this thing rips! For trail riding, and work around the property, I had no need to spend thousands more on the competition. Good choice.

I just bought a USA (MT) 2023 CFORCE 800XC. It didn't come with turn signals/flasher, park lockout, hitch or mirrors. I have since found out there are EU, CA and USA models of this machine and they do not all come equipped with the same standard options. When researching mine I saw machines that had those features and thought that is what I would get, but when I went to pick mine up out of town it didn't have any of those features. I am new to CFMOTO and ATV"s so it would be nice if people would explain in their video's where they are from or what country the machine is built for. It might save some confusion for new buyers like me if they are not aware of the differences. Thanks for a great video!

Hi @markhoover5915 Sorry for the delayed response. Yes - fair comment ... and I have also discovered that options can vary among dealerships as well. For example, a friend of mine picked up a new 2022 800 XC here in Ontario (Canada) and it came with a Champion winch instead of the CFMOTO house brand. I guess local dealers can customize as they see fit. I will endeavour to explain that my videos are 'Canadian' from here on out. Hope you are enjoying your new ride! Keep putting in those smiles and miles. Happy trails to you.

I’ve been back and forth on which 2up to buy. I don’t like the battery location on the Polaris and the price for an a can am outlander is insane!!!! I keep coming back to cfmoto videos and yours is very convincing. I really want to ride with my wife and I think she would love this model. Great video! Thanks.
@joelholtz
@joelholtz Жыл бұрын
Hey mixflip! I know exactly what you mean bro! I was in the very same valley of decision about a 2 up Atv. Here’s some food for thought. After recently riding my parents Polaris, I really noticed the difference in suspension and handling. The 800 CFMoto is a completely different machine than the Polaris. I really felt and noticed that the Polaris was not as firm or stable when riding the trails with 2 people compared to the 800, especially if you are traveling fast. I felt like the Polaris would wander and sway or not absorb the bumps like the 800. I also totally hate where Polaris put their rads. Way too low. The CFMoto rad location is higher and way better for mudding. The tires are another factor - the 800 comes with 26’s on 14 in rims. (9 wide at the front and 11 wide for the rear). For a stock tire, the 800 Cforce trumps the competition. I’ve not driven a CanAm Max, and so I can’t give any commentary on them at all. I do like them and was also considering purchasing one. My wife and kids really enjoys riding and they feel comfortable and secure. The 800 sits the passenger higher and more upright or forward ( if that makes sense) than the Polaris. Maybe it’s because of the frame/suspension difference. Just yesterday I had my daughter with me on a ride and we went through some pretty deep water and terrain- I didn’t get any footage unfortunately- but the 800 came through and climbed out with ease. Anyways, all I can tell you is that I’m glad I went with the 800 series in the CFMoto. They are a beefier setup than the other models. Whatever you decide will be the right choice. Any dealership should let you and your wife get on any quad your looking at and drive it around their lot at least. That way you can both get up on one and see how one feels versus the other. Regardless of what you purchase, I’m really happy for you and your wife. It’s a great investment towards time together in the great outdoors. Well done! All the best.

Bought my blue 2022 800XC late last year. Absolutely love it. The attention to detail, fit and finish and overall package truly is unbeatable, there is no denying that what you get for the price out the door is crazy. Similarly equipped CanAm Outlander’s are $5K more. Folks who are loyal BRP customers will disagree, but there is no way the Outlander is $5K ‘better’ than the CFM800XC. In many respects, the CFM is better. Facts.

Hey! Right on. Congrats on getting the go ahead. 👍👍 The 600 and 800 are on completely different frames - but will definitely provide a great riding experience. I’ve not driven the smaller series 2-ups, so I have no user experience that I can share. If possible, see if you can take both for a little rip down the road at R&R’s. That might allow you to feel a little bit of the difference between the two. Go with the one that catches your eye and produces a smile! Let me know what you get! Happy trails 👍

I looked at the 600 it's a beautiful machine but coming from a 500cc machine before wih two persons where we ride on the West side of Canada high elevation, hilly , mountainous and long snow season , we decided on the 800 just more power , more torque especially riding in winter.. if you're on the flats or cruising steady speed the 600 would do, unless you're heavy heavy people then just go with the 800.. I'm just over 6 feet 200lbs and another person 180 to 210 lbs not a problem for the 800

Hi Joel, this is Massimo from Italy. I'm approaching the ATV world coming from the motorbikes. I know that one of the best ATV is the Yamaha Grizzly 700. Please, could you tell me why you chosen the CF 800? Thank you and sorry for my rusty english. Ciao.
@joelholtz
@joelholtz 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Massimo! Thanks for watching! Wow! Italy. That’s really cool. Your English was spot on by the way. I mentioned my main reasons in the video Massimo. I’ve also been following Blake from Real Talk Powersports for a number of years, and I just came to a place where I knew that I was going to purchase a CFMoto. We specifically chose the 800 model due to its bigger frame and better suspension than the CForce 400,500, 600. We were looking primarily for a 2-up machine. I’m not sure if Yamaha offer a two up ATV? The Cforce 800’s and 1000’s do have the same frame etc … but we went with the 800 rather than the 1000 based on price. The 1000 have some fancier color matched plastics and pieces that make it look really nice to. I guess for me, the Cforce was the best bargain, warranty and nicest looking ATV on the market … and there was a dealer close to me. I’d seriously recommend going to your closest dealer and look over all the ATV’s that are close to you. Get on them and see which one speaks to you and then get out there riding the trails in Italy! Happy Trails Massimo!

Great review! I was interested in the Suzuki king quad and I just went to my local dealer and test drove a king quad 750 and a CF Moto 800 XC and it even had the same orange as yours! Don’t get me wrong the King Quad is a great machine BUT that CF 800 feels munch more powerful. It snaps right off and goes and feels like butter too! I liked much better. The dealer couldn’t praise them enough and said not only do they rarely need to work on them after selling them but the company covers all kinds of damage even if a customer is at fault for wrecking it. They truly care about their customers it looks like and their parts from Canada and Bosch are high quality. I’d want to upgrade tires and add things to a new king quad, but the CF Moto comes with everything I’d need for less money! Can’t beat that. Only thing. I’d buy extra would be a plow for ten winter and a good cart to haul firewood. I’m sold. When I can afford it the CF Moto 800 will be my choice.

What do you think about Polaris?
@joelholtz
@joelholtz Жыл бұрын
Hi SklocFN! Well … that’s an open ended question! Here’ the thing - regardless of what I think - Polaris has been successfully making and selling thousands of ATV’s for decades. Their Sportsman line has a loyal cult following and has a proven track record. It’s hard to say otherwise. My parents own one and so do most of my riding buddies. When I took my son up to my folks place for a weekend ride, we switched quads for a little bit. Both my son and I noticed that the Polaris felt softer than the Cforce. When driving the Polaris I felt more movement and travel in the suspension as compared to the Cforce 800. At times the body lean was a little unnerving and really noticeable at higher speeds. But I don’t think comparing the 800 Cforce with the 570 2-up Polaris is truly fair. A better comparison to the Polaris would be the 500 or 600 series from CFMOTO. In my opinion the Cforce 800-1000 chassis and suspension is a step above the other Cforce lines. It’s just a bigger and beefier machine. So, in my opinion, it’s kind of not an accurate comparison. On the personal side, I’m not a fan of the Polaris look, nor do I like how they seemingly ‘squat’ under load. I follow enough of them on the trail to notice how the rear end squats on these Polaris ATV’s. It’s definitely a Polaris thing. But - there’s plenty of Polaris lovers and enthusiasts who will completely disagree with anything and everything I’ve just said! All the best to you and happy trails!

I'd assume you are in CANADA? I bought a CX800 in Feb of 21 and wanted another one (wanted the overland 1000, but it wasn't yet available in the USA) so I got the wife a touring 600 in March of 21. In America, CFMOTO has gone away with the trailer hitch insert (21 models), the trailer wiring plug (21 models), the horn (23 models) - AMERICA NEVER HAD factory blinkers (something I'd like to have). Ours do NOT come with mirrors either. They charge more and are taking away previously standard features. 😞 Plus, you guys have a 5 year factory warranty; we have a 1 year factory warranty, with many things being warrantied 30 or 90 days (battery, belt, plastics, tires/rims, clutch, etc.). Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE MY CFMOTO's -- BUT very disappointing the things they are getting rid of. I wish I could get a model from Canada that has all the features I want.

I looked at these and honestly they are not convincingly cheaper than the big three . Yes they have the bling ,but bling won’t get you home .

Hi Albertapeet! Interesting perspective. I know that supply chain issues have influenced a lot of things but I’m not sure I completely agree that COVID had boosted the CFMOTO brand. Most people are brand loyal and will usually wait for what they really want. My local CanAm dealer had a lot of loyal people on a wait list for new machines last year. In fact, people needed to put $500 down just to get on the wait list. I could have been #43. For me, when comparing the Cforce to the Outlander Max - the purchase price difference was around $5000. So, for me, a savings of $5000 is pretty significant. But there’s one thing we can agree on - we both want to get home at the end of the day! Hi mad151maxx! No I didn’t purchase it off alibaba. I bought it from my local CFMOTO dealer - R&R Trail Motorsport. Thanks!

Yes sir no clue until two weeks ago the first video I seen that guy just sold his Polaris UTV and and he was talking about how he sold it and he was on his way to get a new UTV and it was a I can’t remember if it was silver or gray silver and black CF Moto 1000 cc and I believe it was I think a little more than § 10 000 and he was showing us on the video why he got rid of the Polaris and not the CF Moto he said if you guys remember the dirtbike company KTM from years ago and they also. Had Kawasaki engine and all the Storage you have in the cab and how nice is the display and this one wasn’t even all decked out yet then I start watching videos and this company is great Can-Am and Polaris and Honda our so much more money I ended we’re talking about our 2023 Polaris Can Am raise their prices CF Moto is definitely going to put a dent in their sales and it’s not like you’re not getting a quality machine you’re getting a really nice machine you can actually get a four wheeler and a UTV for about 20 grand and if you shop around you will find some doors when shields 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🛺🛺🛻🛻🛻

Hi Lee Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes - I think CFMOTO is definitely starting to gain some traction. It’s good to have good options out there - and CFMOTO is a good option! Thanks again and happy trails!
