I have almost the exact same build. LT trim. Gasser. 20 inch wheels. Still waiting (since November) for delivery. Truck ordered last June!

Talk to your dealer again as there's no reason that it shouldn't have been built yet as a Gas. They had Diesel on constraints but the Gas should have been built by now.

@WesternGMDrumheller ...truck was built week of 11/15. Order was placed early June. Truck has been delayed three times, and counting, and still just sits at the Flint parking lot graveyard.

Are these reliable? (Like in rust, mechanical and technologicle)

Haven't seen a 2015 or newer GM HD Truck with any rust and I've taken in a few with over 200,000kms on them. Mechanically the old 6.0L Gas was bullet proof but hard on gas. The Duramax Diesel is very reliable the only issues some people have are with the emissions (common for all Diesels including cars) that's why when its off warranty many people DELETE the emissions systems. Just don't go get it tuned to ROLL COAL as that's not cool for the people behind you, lol.

Are you sure about that auto with every trim LT and above? 22,23?

The first run of all the HD's that we're LT and higher had it but halfway thru this year they changed it to if it has Z71 or on GMC side X31 Packages it will have Auto meaning a 2-speed transfer case where as its only standard with Z71.

Actually at the time of me making this video that was the information we had from GM but with all the raw materials and semi conductor shortages GM figured they would clean out the parts bin and keep this interior for one more year. Thanks for the comment, cheers!
