2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD Review | One of the BEST family haulers EVER made!

Today I review the AMAZING 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD with the S Appearance Package after living with it for a week. I drove this thing all over the place to see if it was a good daily driver and family hauler and it truly was astounding in every way.

Update -- I bought a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica FWD, with the S Appearance Package, Theater Package, and the Safety Sphere. I looked at cars for six months, and nothing I looked at had all of the features of the Pacifica. My kids are older -- I didn't necessarily need a minivan. But for hauling my older kids, their friends, sports bags, and my dogs, I couldn't find anything that matched the room and versatility that the Pacifica has. The Odyssey is a great mini van, but it's in dire need of a refresh. The tech on the Odyssey is just super outdated. I know many people gravitate toward Honda for the reliability, however there are many people that will attest to the quality and longevity of a Chrysler. The Pacifica looks really cool too when you get the S Appearance Package. I also just really like the way the driver's seat sits up higher, which gives you great visibly. I felt like I was sitting very low in the Odyssey. That Stow and Go is also just incredible. I bought my son an electric bike, and it was a breeze putting the seats down so we could load it in. I feel like Chrysler just really paid attention to every single detail -- the vacuum is super handy for quick clean ups, and even the hooks they have in the trunk for grocery bags are well thought out. The USB ports everywhere are super handy. Another major bonus -- Chrysler is one of the few car brands right now that will actually negotiate the price. I got my Pacifica for $2,000 BELOW MSRP, plus they delivered the car to my house! Thanks for the video -- car shopping these days is just awful, so making cars videos for people is super helpful.

You don't have to get all the bells and whistles. You can get a Pacifica Touring with leather and standard safety like lane assist and adaptive cruise control and remote start for about $35,000. If you get one that is used even better. You don't need to buy new.

Hoping to sign the paperwork for a 2023 Touring L tomorrow! Checked out Siennas and Odysseys too - the Pacifica wins by a mile in style, comfort, and convenience. My brother builds them, he has a 2017 Pacifica and neglects maintenance yet he’s had no mechanical issues whatsoever.

Someone needs to hear this: If it takes an SUV to make you cool, surprise, you're not cool. I blame the marketing of minivans for the stigma. MINIVANS ARE NOT JUST FOR SOCCER MOMS. They should be marketed like SUVs: A group of 30 year old women on ladies' night, people loading stuff from the big box stores, people moving, people just enjoying the luxury of the vehicle, etc. SUVs are only needed if you need to haul over 3600 pounds or if you need to go offroad (and no, driving in grass or on the beach don't count now that the Pacifica has AWD). If you don't need these two things, you should have a minivan. Better mileage, better features/tech and way more space than an SUV in a comparable price range. Space: This Pacifica has 10 cu/ft more space than a GMC Yukon/ Chevy Tahoe (both with 2nd and 3rd row seats down); 140+ for the Pacifica, 129 for the Yukon/Tahoe. The Yukon XL/ Suburban only have 4 cu/ft more than the Pacifica. I'd argue that the Pacifica is still better because it is a flat continuous surface with a squarer, easier to load opening.

Great video! I’m really on the fence between the Pacifica and the Odyssey. The $3,200 entertainment package isn’t just for the two screens and the DVD player. It also is for the power folding back seats and the vacuum.

Have you made a decision yet? We are in the same exact situation and we're leaning hard toward the AWD Pacifica. I think it actually looks and performs better than both Chevy options, in spite of the V6 vs the V8 option. The interior space is better over the Tahoe and the Suburban looks like an oversized station wagon to me.

@@peterjames7324 We just put a deposit down on one, 2023 Limited AWD with S appearance and sphere package. Test drove Pallisade, Telluride, Traverese, Grand Cherokee-L. They all have the same interior space and wasn't enough of an upgrade to move on from the MDX...that was until we drove the Pacifica. We were both blown away by the options, space, ride and styling. Never thought we'd own a minvan but here we are lol.

If you don't need all the fancy stuff (like the $57,552 Limited AWD in this video) you can get one for a very reasonable price. A Pacifica Touring version (FWD) starts at $37,095. A Touring L with some nice options starts at $41,098.

Thanks for the glimpse, but...I choose vans based on the sunroof for the kids to enjoy camping and travel visuals, and you didn't show it! When we make road trips into scenic places, we often open up the sunroof to enjoy as much as possible. At times, we climb out or stand up to watch the scenery. We watched the last space shuttle take off that way years ago. When we went to a safari park, the kids enjoyed seeing animal roaming around and atop the van. We watched the nightsky on maountain tops that way. Yes, it's a big deciding factor.

I've had driving a rented Pacifica for a week its ride awesome it feels very nice the only thing I dont like it's a intermittent vibration that can be feel on the steering wheel and brake pedal it could be that specific van but other than that great vehicle

for dust on the display - in my Elantra I use one of those 360-Swifter-Pet-Dusters - I just put it kind of beside the seat, the plastic forks pop through so I think I will figure a way to stop that happening as it can scratch.

All we need now is a hemi option but, I guess it looks nice otherwise. All joking aside I'm considering this for a gentleman I care for altho ill have to do a wheelchair conversion so I'll lose the rear seats but I love this trim . Not sure what these go for in a fwd i will have to add another 20k for the conversion may be a bit steep. Hoping they will be offering some good discounts on the Pacifica very soon.

Not to be overly critical, but you failed to mention that the when using the 2nd row stow option and you move the front seats forward, one must push the same button to move the seats back into their original position after stowing. An unknowing viewer may get confused by not showing this.

It's a fully loaded luxury vehicle in the 50-60k range, with the added practically of a cargo van. 2 vehicles in one. You can spend much less for a minivan if you can't afford the luxeries. Or you can keep complaining when nobody cares.

Buy used and no need to get the awd with all the bells and whistles. You can get a touring edition with leather and even remote start for less than $35,000. Also, buy used instead of new.

I have owned a lot of town and countrys and have a Pacifica, an have had 0 issues.. the town an country I had had 300k miles an still going on the original everything. Thought it did have cracks in plastic dash but like for an old car that’s expected. I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is a very reliable vehicle, an that’s probably why it’s the only thing Chrysler makes anymore, they invented the van, an they definitely do a great job at it. Though I’d buy a nice used one instead of brand new cause they are pretty pricy new anymore like everything else

I rented one for a week everyday there was a problem reminded me of my lemon tree Chrysler town an country limited 50,000 it all started 3 motors 3 Tipm's tail lights the whole thing there led 300 a pop blower motores non stop Car an driver called it the lemon tree to rangerover the rental company told me they sale the chryslers at 50,000 because thats when they start becoming unreliable i have to agree my was a 2017 at 55,000 the nitemar started no one would take it on a trade in If you are looking for reliably don't buy this van you will regret it do your research Chrysler has never made a reliable car ever this was ny second Chrysler never again the other Chrysler was a 98 years apart same result ending
