My first pencils I ordered were the Castle Art 120. I was so excited to get them. My son Shane passed away that same day. I understand how you feel. Coloring has been a big help.

Great video. I love that you showed pages you had coloured with each pencil set. Im so jealous of all your pencils. I only have Castle Arts soft touch, Black Widows and now Inktense. The pencils I've always wanted is Prismacolor, but they are so expensive in the UK. I have now added the Kalour and Brutfuner pencils to my wishlist 😂

The Brutfuner square and the Arteza experts are great sets. Kalour is good too but those are better

I saw a tip today about pencil cases.. hook the zippers together with something... then you can open and close the entire case with one zip.

I inherited my dad's set of Prismacolors when he passed away. They're Berols and he had over half the full set. I am so hesitant to use them because they were last used and loved by him so much.

Lovely pencils. I am not sure you would like Polychromos if you love really soft pencils. I love them. But they are totally different. I love all my pencils. I have managed not to get the 520 set. But who knows. I may yet end up with them some day. Your art is so beautiful! I love your pictures.

Thank you for the video! I wanted to mention, if you get a can of Waorkable fixitive, and spray it on your finnished page, your colors wont transfer. You can get it on Amazon, but cheaper at Walmart

the Markart pencils don't have names on the pencils but the names were on the swatch chart on the tin. Kind of a bummer, but I do like them and use them with my Polychromos. I also am a fan of the Castle Art pencils and now own the Pastel and Metallic ones.LOL.. I also am a collector :)

@@disneymegscoloring thanks so much. I went to find them and have them on my wishlist. Unfortunately for me the mailing is more than the cost of the pencils lol. So pencils are a really great price $45.99 but the mailing is $46.75, so that ends up quite a lot for me. I will hopefully be able to get them one day.

Wonderful pencil collection and video! I love my Prismas! I own ⭐ Joy OG &Golds, Soucolor, Black Widows, Brutfuner Square, Crayola 120, FC Polychromos, Derwent Inktense, Lyra Graduate 24, and the Arteza 72. Do you have watercolor pencils? I have 3 but I use them rarely just because they are messy. I love Pamela and during 2020 she was one of the ones that taught me lots in the beginning of my coloring journey. She's amazing! The star joys have a color system and come prearranged and ordered to blend, so it is interesting you rearranged their order. Do you not use the system the pencils were created for? Just curious

I think that is just the Star joy golds not the regular ones. I did have the gold ones at this time.

Apparently, if you contact Black Widow on their Facebook page you can get open stock. I have never done it and have no clue what the cost would be or if there is a minimum amount for pencils that you need to buy. I saw something a long time ago, though I don't know if they are still doing it. Cute pages btw.

From what I've been told it's like $3 a pencil, plus shipping, and it ships from Australia. You have to contact them via email and pay to some random paypal account. It's pretty hinky, plus very expensive, you can buy the very best brands there are for that price.

You’re like me I have a crazy amount of sets 😂 I need to organize my 520 brutfuners better I swatched them but need to redo it with the names. What are your 2nd favorite set after prisma colors? I love my PC but don’t wanna use them in every book. I might try the black widows.

I think so. I use a Dahl 133 (a crank one), a Jarlink (electric) and when my pencils are too small for those I use a TGAAL.

Softer pencils definitely help. I really like my Kalour 300 set. Brutefuner Squares are really soft and creamy too, very easy on the hands. When I first started I only had Crayola, Cra-Z-Art, and some other cheap off brands from stores. It was hard to get the color to lay down nicely, blend, and hurt my hands.
