Cool comparison Bill. I think it would be interesting when you get Michelins on the V4S and spend the majority day on that then the BWM at the end of the day. I know the end of a track day, I'm toast from being tired so I can relate lol - Gotta admit, also a Ducati fan so there's a little bias for me 😊. Both are amazing machines 👍

Was interesting to watch a track comp of the bikes. I own a 2020 S1KRR M-Sport (full akro exhaust, brentune, etc) and a 2022 V4S (full akro with the pipes under the seat and the tune etc) both running supercorsa tyres and I can tell you day to day riding the RR is way better. Better down low power, a fuel gauge, foldable mirrors for filtering, feels more agile, cruise control, quick shifter is way smoother at low RPM etc ... but when you are blasting it in the hills the drama of the Ducati wins for fun. Great video was cool to watch.

I’m hesitating between the two bikes u own.. I feel that the bmw overall is better.. but I wanna be seen and arrive in and look at the Ducati everyday.. it’s so special looks wise.. but I KNOW I’ll mostly ride in the city and Highway… the Ducati has no cruise control?

From my understanding there are OE spec for most tires. They are the ones that go on production bikes. Whereas if you buy that same Supercorsa off the the rack at a shop it will perform better than the stock ones. It's weird...

What does the green flashing light atop the gauge on the Ducati mean? I am guessing that the red flashing light means shift.

I goes green / orange / red for shift lights. Red means you definitely should be shifting lol 😂

I have a 2021 V4S and a 2022 S1000RR M and I am faster on the S1000RR M. Just because it’s so easy to ride.

I went to your channel to find some videos lol.I had chance to buy a 2020 V4 base model with only 1990 miles clean title.The owner said the quickshifter would only work sometimes and he also put that termi 4escite exhaust on it and when google the exhaust i found out it was a 4k+ system.He was only asking 18500 for the bike and i forgot to mention it had a check engine light on due to either exhaust or the quickshifter?So i decided to get a 2022 S1000RR M package with 2700 miles but paid 21k fir it.Its posted i my videos and its been flashed and tuned.Do you think i made the right choice due to the ducati having those issues even though im sure they were a easy fix.Ive owned two S1000RR in the past a 2015 and a 2018 i love these bikes but just wondering if the V4 would have been a better bike?

If the temperature below 60 the Ducati for sure will trash the rr i have v4 and and sold the 1000, with at least 1 second, but on road the 1000 is comfortable

The BMW will almost always be faster its just a much more flattering bike. The V4S is becoming like the BMW but is so much more exciting to ride. I got to ride a 22 v4s at the track 2 weeks ago after coming from my sf and was impressed. I disagree with the tires, but that's just me🤪

@@CaliMotoTV I had the 19 V4S, then I replaced with the 20 S1000RR and I immediately went 3 seconds faster at Buttonwillow. This year, I picked up a 21 R1 as well, I’m really curious how it will do at BW. It feels very rider friendly.

Whats up with the new Dually? You get rid of the SuperBeast? IMO as someone who cant even come close to using either bike to potential: I prefer the Ducati just because of the looks of it and because every youtuber/instagramer has the BMW.

We are in the process of playing musical trucks 😅 waiting on a 450, have the gmc for a little bit until that shows up. Superbeast is too tall to efficiently tow the 5th wheel.

Just my opinion...but from the video, it looks like you flow smoothly on the track with the BMW and you had to "work" the Ducati to obtain similar results.

IIUC, Ducati changed the gearing that way for this year based on feedback from people riding these on track and being sort stuck in no man's land of needing to shift up to 2nd in corners 'cause they were topped out.

Properly tuned ducati v4 2023 skill rider not hp not torque wise most definitely look wise can compare to bmw .it like comparing Ferrari to bmw. 210 to rear 105 torque that ducati panigale v4 2023. Raw power for person that know how to handle it. It didn't buy ducati for comfort. Bmw is great bike but quality not there and that fact. Ask around. Even Brent tune bmw hardly make enough power that can't get close to v4. Bmw for those that can't afford maintenance on ducati plus 7k Akrapovic .stop comparing something that can't be compare not preforming wise not looks. Zx 10 r or r1 .ducati power is homicidal if i had to spend 40k after tax i would do it again. 😅
