2022 Environmental Summit - Solar Canopies in CT

Kieren Rudge, Yale graduate student, presents his work at the 2022 Environmental Summit on the potential of solar canopies in Connecticut. Rudge shows that over 8,000 sites in CT might be appropriate for solar canopies and, if fully realized, have the potential to produce over 38% of CT's electricity. Siting solar locally on already disturbed areas has many economic and societal benefits.
