@@jtlegionnaire6310 We can't collect Arkansas sales tax, so you will need to pay sales tax when you go to register your vehicle and tag it. If you don't have money to cover it or want to finance it into your deal like you would for a local finance deal, then we can calculate that amount into your deal and give you a check for the sales tax so you will have the money to give to your sales tax office.

Checking with the Brand Manager, and looking on the WBDO (Ford Ordering System), when you add the Co-Pilot 360 Package on the XL, you can add the Power Mirrors. Also, privacy glass is standard on all trims.

At this point, I am really interested in this vehicle but I absolutely hate that you have to get the Lariat trim, to get adaptive cruise control. If this is meant to bring in the Civic crowd (I have a civic with acc) it should come with at least the XLT package. That being said, I really want to thank you guys for putting out informative videos and trying to get us some answers, and as someone who has worked in a dealership in my past (not Ford), you guys are doing amazing work.

I ordered the XLT with The Luxury Package and Co-pilot 360, with the the turbo in AWD (it’s MAINE and it snows a lot here:) the Power Slide Moon Roof, a spare tire and the bucket floor liners and a tonneau cover too, in Hot Pepper Red for my Wife (who likes smaller vehicles yet loves to ride in my 2018 F-150 STX) came to exactly 32k. And with sales tax and a $499.00 DOC Fee (non negotiable here, but it is what it is) came to $34,320.45 TOTAL. I added the cost so that everyone else can compare what your Dealership is actually doing. Great Videos and info. If I was in your area I’d be buying from you. Good luck to everyone who wants one too. HOPEFULLY we’re all ahead of the curve and Ford is making the 1st Gen with EXCELLENT care;) still gonna get an extended warranty to 100k though.

My particular dealership confirmed yesterday they will do X Plan and a referral credit if I get others to order the maverick. The attachments are on the underneath side of the too and can be taken off. The top isn't lockable but the releases are under the cover so you have to open the bed to get to them. Since the tailgate is locking it will be secure.

On the late availability section you have mentioned front-wheel drive with the 4K towing package will be late availability then later during the wrap-up you had mentioned four-wheel drive with front-wheel drive late availability just want to confirm that I placed an order with all-wheel drive and 4k towing package is not going to be late availability. The dealer that I work with does not have any information I actually had to refer them to your videos so they can order it for me but they did say no dealer markup and no deposit on the work order. So I thought I made that confusing, lol. Awd/ecoboost/all trims can add 4k Tow package now. Fwd/ecoboost/Lariat can also add 4k Tow Package now. Fwd/ecoboost/XL or XLT you will need to wait if you add the 4k Tow Package.

@@crxfan101 there is an electric brake boost on the all hybrids and on the ecoboost on the Lariat Luxury Package. That isn't auto hold, from what I understand it assists so you don't have to put as much pressure on the brake.

It's only required to add the CP360 Pack on the XL. If you add it on the XLT, you don't need to add the CP360.

Yes and no. I think there is a market for strippo cars. For example, you can get a Jeep Wrangler with a manual transmission, manual door locks, crank windows, and optional A/C. On a budget truck like this, I was hoping they'd go that route. But even so, cruise control should be available as a option that doesn't require a $2,200 trim level jump. I really wish that the base model had vinyl floors, bench seats (with cloth or vinyl as options), and manual everything.

There is a particulate air filter in all Maverick. And the destination fee is the cost Ford charges to each vehicle to get from the factory to the dealer, whether you get from Texas dealer or Hawaii dealer.

A question about the 8 speed automatic transmission. Is there a manual mode to be able to shift the gears manually? In my hilly area a way to keep it in 6th or 7th gear so isn't always downshifting.

According to the technical specs 6th gear is the 1:1 ratio. 8th is a .62 overdrive. On my test drive there are two steep hills in a 60 mph zone. How the tranny performs is a deal breaker issue for me. This is Ford counting beans.

I called my local dealer and asked this question and they said they expect deliveries in 4 months and told me I can reserve one now and if I’m not ready to purchase when it arrives I can just wait and order another one. (They told me no reservation fee or penalty for not purchasing) I would of course need that in writing. I have a feeling with all of these shortages they won’t be delivered until sometime early next year anyway.

Delays keep happening at the Hermosillo factory for weather and shortages. I don’t see deliveries happening in 21. I will be presently surprised if we get them this fall though. I live 4 hours from the factory so I plan to drive down and see the parking lot of Mavericks later this year if the borders are open.

If I get the lariat package it does come with cruise control right it doesn't have to be adaptive cruise control but cruise control

Makes sense looking at that data and knowing who they are targeting why they would make the truck cheaper and leave out the gps antenna, receivers, software and rely on smart phone functionality. Plus you can always get a good gps for a couple hundred dollars.

I had a Maverick Grabber in Orange, 250c.i. straight six. Lot o torque and no weight on the rear = maximum burnouts. The Orange and Flat Black hood were the chit. The flat baby moon wheel covers with trim rings looked great with the car.

No, you have to add copilot 360 to get it as an upgradeable option, don’t ask me why Ford does weird things. Automatic rear sliding window is only on the lariat, manual is optional with XL/XLT once you add 360. The manual is $155 I think 🤔

Power Sliding is standard on Lariat. Manual sliding is optional on XL and XLT, requires you to add Co-Pilot 360 Package first then it should show up on the XL.

With the FX4 and 4K towing package, it talks about upgraded and heavy duty radiator and cooling fan. Do we know if this is the same thing or one better than the other? Also, I believe it is the BLIS -(with the side mirror sensors) do we know if this also covers for trailers? I’ve seen some videos for f150 for sensors on the trailer to alert you if someone is in your blind spot. Is this standard with BLIS or a feature not included in the Maverick. Sorry about all the questions- this is my first vehicle purchase in 11 years.

I don't believe there is a difference in the radiator and cooling fan between them but the tow package gets transmission oil cooler.

Just for clarification: If I add the luxury package, I'll have a regular outlet in the truck bed but no option for one in the cab. If I forego the luxury package and add the 110/400 I'll have a regular outlet in the cab but not one in the truck bed. Disappointing that I can't have an option that gives both

The Ford fiesta is made in the same plant and I think it's a pretty popular Ford car as well. I wouldn't look down upon it just because it isn't made in America. Quite often, there are more foreign car brands made in America then American car brands.

The fusion was made in the same factory. Really it just assembly. The ecoBoost engine is made in the US or Spain, while the Hybrid is made in Mexico. The Battery for the Hybrid is made in the US. Parts are sourced from everywhere. Robots 🤖 do a lot of the work.

NO IIHS and NSTA safety rating yet on this small very new unibody truck, NO cruise control and power side mirror on the entry level, No MPG report on 2.0 ecoboost. NO destination charge yet on the pricing and there is still a lot of unknown about this mini truck... be on the side of caution, Knowing how Ford always have problems on it new model introductions, I will consider buying this truck only after a year it has been on the job and the roads.

Well again most important is there are no shortage of vehicle just possibly a shortage of "the vehicle you want" such as a Ford Maverick. Certainly no shortage of any other product on the market but this at the moment which is not surprising given the price point. Meanwhile the rest of the entire US Das Auto Industry is suddenly gathering dust save for maybe Subaru. Tesla is winning big by dominating Europe and Asia at the moment although North American numbers are still respectable. Of course a base model Tesla Y is $60,000 US dollars! No thanks.
