Some people think their car is fast until they bring it to a track lol. I took my 06 3.9L V6 monte carlo to the track for fun. On the streets, it's beaten most of the cars that tried me in it. It's not exactly fast either. Does 0-60 in 7 flat. Took it to the track and was probably in the bottom 10 slowest cars there lol. Even a 3.6L GMC terrain with 4 people in it ran almost a second faster than I ran.

I'd be willing to bet that S-10 Blazer has all GMC Cyclone running gear. Full time 4wd, turbo charged 4.3, They did a road test on a Cyclone (it's an S-15 pickup with the 4 wd Astro Van running gear) and the little P-cup outran a Ferrari 308 in a standing start 1/4 mile drag race.

@1:10:43 you can see the EVO cut in on Mike, That black batch is the edge of Mike's lane and EVO cuts in instead of winding it out up towards the wall. This is the point where they should be throttling out of the corner and the EVO is still turning in WTF?

👌Thoroughy enjoyed video. Tesla (EV) should have a short delay time at start, given that instanteneous acceleration there's evidentally a disadvantage to the rest (ICE). Kudos to the EVO, my Man of the day!

I was not happy with what happened to Vincent. I saw a different angle and it is a hard one to call. The Evo should have drifted up a bit, that's what you would think would happen. It was disappointing to say the least.

100% agree. Jumping the gun on that decision as most tracks do. Some say he ran up on the evo but I think it’s quite obv that the evo didn’t give Mike his line that he already gained

I felt like the Evo came towards the inside of the track and took his line. Should have been the same call as when the corvette got pushed into the wall. Otherwise they open up the ability for anyone with the lead to cut off the other driver. I realize the the FF team is doing the best the can at running fun events and its much easier to analyze something after the fact on video. I'd like to hear a FF member comment on that incident now that they have had time to review.

Some really close races! The Evo cut off the 3000GT and wasn't leaving enough room. The thing that costed the black Camaro twice in Round 3 was how close he and the Lotus got at turn 1, causing drag to make him loose. I was so disappointed when the C5 was beaten by the Tesla. If only the C5 had a better launch in the third round of the race, he would have had a much better chance at beating the Tesla.

The tesla issue can be fixed with a second lap, even the hill climb special that won is a one trick pony, hard launch then take the inside and block the track, every time. they are slow in the corners and have no top end pretty boring to watch.

From a sportsmanship POV, I'd rather choose to watch equally matched vehicles compete against each other. This was like watching Mike Tyson vs. Glass Joe. Sure, they're both boxers and in the same arena with the same objective but anyone watching(even a child) can see there's something unsportsmanlike happening. As a promoter, I couldn't quantify paying out $10K for this.
