Man, racing coasters are a dying breed and I wish they weren’t. At least Magic Mountain and the Ohio parks are keeping theirs running well.

I like The Gemini. It's a very fun Coaster. But I wish it had a similar layout as the original version of Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I rode both Coasters in their premier season of 1978. Rode Gemini before going to Marine Corps Bootcamp of the same year, then rode Colossus after graduation from Bootcamp. Although Gemini is a hybrid, Colossus profile had major drops that went actually below ground level, except for the double down, before it was ruined later in years by covering it with the lame block brake. But if the profile of Gemini was like the original Colossus, the helix at the end would definitely stay as is.

It’s been about 25 years since I’ve been to Cedar Point, always made it a point to ride Gemini. One Friday night the lines were short and got to ride it about 12 times in a row from 10pm til the park closed at midnight.

Been a long time for me too, 1996 was my last time there. Mantis was THE new ride. Gemini was pretty tame compared to the rides open at the time I first went (raptor was new my first time), but I grew up at Boblo Island and my mom always told me how awesome Gemini was. When I finally got to ride it it was just such a special moment. I love the ride but it also has a special place in my heart.

Do you have permission to do this? Your entire channel is POV rides and I know that filming is prohibited at Cedar Point and is probably the same at other parks. Maybe don’t do this. You can and will get caught and it will end up with you banned from CP

Filming isn't banned when you're on a ride at Cedar Point. Cedar Point has been doing these kinds of videos for years & I'm pretty sure they have even seen videos here on his channel. In reality, yes there's other riders being filmed but it's also helping Cedar Point promote their rides & at the same time showing the fun experience people are having.

He probably has a gopro harness on (sry my english is not that well). I think most parks dont allow filming if you have the camera in your hand, but if its secured to your chest or head its most of times ok to film. Also employees would have said something when boarding if it wasnt ok to film :)
