The wreath falling is so relatable. I’m so happy to see a video where everything doesn’t come together without a bead of sweat. I’ve done this kind of decorating for years and some thing always, always goes wrong and makes you wonder why you do it in the first place. And I have moved before against my will where I wanted to cry and missed my old house. This is 100% relatable.

You’re just adorable. So “real” !!!! When the wreath fell I felt your pain LOL!! Maybe a door hanger for wreaths is what you need (or a new door). Everything you do is terrific. Love your videos. ❤

I am with you Lauren, I am also having a hard time watching for the usual victorian era and lovely decorating. New homes just don't have the character you want them to have. It makes it so hard to make these type of homes have it. But if anyone can figure it out , I think you will surprise me and fit it all into the decorating theme. Thanks for sharing the Halloween decorating with us. So cute!!! Have a wonderful day 😀

Lauren I absolutely love your attitude when things don't go as planned. I feel your struggles. I have these huge bats that I put above my door. Our Texas winds kept blowing them down and I have to get on a 18 ft ladder. We went back and forth before I was about to call it quits then I said what would Lauren do, be patient and laugh.

Since the outside your home is warm tones, a snowy woodland theme would look beautiful. Red plaid, furry, and burlap fabrics and textures. Lots of pinecones, animals (snow owl, deer or moose, squirrels, Cardinals), and pine trees with white lights, big snowflakes hanging from the ceiling.

@@PreethaPaul I neverrrrrrrrrr reply to comments on KZbin, but your blatant display of jealousy requires a response. You just can’t handle the fact that Lauren is rich AND beautiful AND smart AND educated AND works a great job AND has a family of her own AND is a great mom AND is kind/relateable/friendly. You can’t handle that she’s allllll of those things, so you hate her. I wanna hate her too cause she’s so perfect… BUT, instead of being jealous, you could just be happy for her & learn from her & be kind. Maybe if you weren’t so negative & hateful, you’d be decorating YOUR family’s mansion’s front porch.

@@PreethaPaulI also would usually just ignore comments such as this but common sense seems to have evaded you. If you didn't want people to comment more or give her a 👍then I fear your approach may have backfired.😇 Yes, more likes are a good thing with a KZbin channel last I checked! 😀 Yes, sponsors help make a few bucks if people choose to go through them... but what's the problem with that??? No one is making you use them, right? This is a job like any other and should be treated as such. I'm sure she's put in alot of hard work transforming her passion of home making into something profitable. She has 2 jobs really where as some people can't even put in the effort for one now at days. Her channel has grown because people like her content and I'm sure that along the way there have been some that unsunscribed for whatever reason. Alot of people must like it and not mind her her choices on content if it is still growing. We should not try to put limits on what others can do because of our own personal choices and views. I don't have to be in the same boat in life to find joy and inspiration in what others choose to share. Hopefully you find a channel that fits your way of thinking better but being so narrow minded might limit your choices alot more. Also, I don't think she thinks of others as peasants but I guess you do??? I remember not having much when we were young but I never thought of myself in that way... I guess the labels come from how you choose to view it. I choose to find happiness for her success and hope that others do as well. She really does have a great channel. Have a good day!🤗

I completely understand the struggle of going from a house that is full of charm and elegance to a builder grade house. I had the same experience. When we built our house it felt like it lacked the warmth that the old house had. But the space your family gets with the new house makes up for it! In the long run you’ll be so happy to have storage and space. Think of the new house as a blank canvas that you can do whatever you want! You’re doing great girl! Don’t worry in time it will feel like home. 💗

It turned out really cute. A neighbor a few streets down from us, always put up a new display each year as to what the skeletons are doing. They also have a fake black cat that they move around their yard from day to day, which is fun to spot where the cat is.. They have skeleton dogs, so Chewy might want to be represented. The yard and doorway areas turned out just spectacular ! We have a metal door and have a brass door knocker. I attach wreaths and other decoration to it all the time . If the nail doesn’t work try a large screw , paint to match door . You have accomplished so much at the house in a short time . I totally understand how much you must miss your gorgeous Victorian. There is just no competition between Victorians and modern houses in tne who wins category for beauty and ability to decorate with fantastic results. I think Victorians are loved because they were mostly individually built with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship , not like suburbs with one size fits all builders tract houses. I miss your old house too. It has such a beautiful flow. Dining room and kitchen were just perfect. Maybe when you get your dining room in place it will feel better. One thing I have noticed in countless decorating videos on you tube is older houses always seem easier to decorate because of their charm . Big white box houses are a challenge especially with tall ceilings. You will put your stamp on it and I’m sure it will be gorgeous when you get all your projects done next year. I really loved the way you always decorated the white table in your old kitchen . Maybe you could swap it out for the round black table. Round tables have more limited decorating options to me . I’m so glad you all have kept the Victorian and could return there when the kids are grown. Looking forward to your Christmas decorating.
