I just bought a 2022 Forty-Eight less than a week ago. I will be 74yrs old next month and this is my 24th motorcycle I have had the privilege of owning in my short life here on planet earth. During the video you indicated there is no shifter gauge indicating which gear your in. That’s not correct, it does have a gauge which indicates what gear your in alone with your RPM. The 48 is what I would refer to as the old style Harley. Although I have only ridden Harley’s for the last 3yrs which included a 2019 Fat Bob (my favorite Harley), 2021 Street Glide Special, 2022 Road King, and now this 2022 Forty-Eight black edition. Longest ride so far has been an afternoon jot of a 185 mile. I could ride this bike across America. Stock seat to me is comfy. One of my other bikes is a 2022 Ninja ZX10-R. In years past I have made four 650 mile trips on crotch rockets. I don’t recommend this unless you have a iron butt. Now that is a hard seat to be riding on boring roads with no curves. But they are a smooth bike and all the speed you want. I’m planning on keeping my 48. With all the scuttle butt going around about this may be the last year for the 48 and I was born in 48, only seems right for me to hang on to it. To me, the best motorcycle to ride is the one you are currently riding 😉.

Love my 2020 48. I have the white tank. Just upgraded to stage 2...Vance and Hines straight shot pipes and high flow air filter......ECU re-flash..got 94.2 hp and 82 torque on the dyno...gotta be happy with that. I also have Harley sportster z-bars, couldnt deal with the stock bars...oh yeah got fat grips on as well, stock skinny ones dont work well with olds hands.

This video is the only unbiased honest review on KZbin. I just bought a 2021 48. Pretty much everything about this bike sucks. The only good thing is that you’ll look sexy while riding it… oh, and the forward controls :)

Whoever wrote this; doesn’t sound like they know how to ride. This video does have true points about the Forty-Eight, but the credibility of the narrator is comparable to someone selling car warranty insurance from out-of-state.
