Great bike, please take care accelerating through a intersection like that. I totaled my bike doing that.

Found this because I'm in the same boat. I have a 21 Sportster S that I have had very few problems out of. But it's time to trade and I'm gonna go with a Lowrider S. My riding is a good bit different from yours as I'm in the mountain area of North Carolina and I am worried that the Lowrider will let me down more than I can accept in that element of riding. Scraping pegs is part of the joy for me. I know it'll be more comfortable, which is why I'm trading, but I still need something that I can push through the mountain passes. Thanks for your insight on both.

Welcome to the party! My sportster s had SO MANY problems lol. Maybe in a few years, Harley will have it all worked out. The LRS won’t let you down! It has plenty of power out of the box and getting a tune/exhaust will open it up even more! Lmk if you take the leap!

My Sportster S has actually been great. The only problem it had was it needed a Software update from HD that took a week. It might not have left my buddies on their bikes that are far better suited for curves but they couldn't leave me either. I was very pleased with its performance. I know the Lowrider S won't be able to perform on that level, but that's ok. My body just can't take those 8 hour journeys through the mountains it used to do on Japanese bikes (and the Sportster S isn't much better). So, after HD does their official release on Jan 24th I will make a decision. If there is no Bronx model I will go LRS.

The LRS is still on my radar. Saw an ST in person and they’re beautiful as well. But i think i’d get the sportier LRS, once they put the VVT on this bad boy. The RevMax 1250T is still on my radar too but im waiting to see what else they do with that motor, and an improved reliability. And if Buell Supercruiser makes it to production, then i’d really have some thinking to do. Exciting times in the motorcycle world for me. For now, i’ll enjoy rippin around my Stage III built Sportster.
