I agree with you 💯 I have a 2021 and all I’ve done is change the seat and the windshield. Mustang seat and 9” windshield. Love it!!

100% agree . just the basic items on a CVO to change ....... they are the BEST !!!!

I love my 2021 SG CVO. Some of the major upgrades I've done: Handlebars, Exhaust, and I added a chopped tour pak. Great review sir!

I agree 100 % to retain the value of a CVO it’s best to leave it alone except for minor changes

2021 Black Hole is my ride. 9 inch chisel bars, new front and rear shocks and the Klock works windshield makes the ride perfect. At dealer in Rapid this year D&D and Thundermax added the power I wanted with a cam, 2 into 1 and tuner. It woke it up and I’m very happy with my ride.

Got me a Saddlemen Performance Gripper Seat with Driver's Lumbar Rest seat, 12" VINDIKTA HOOP-TEEZE apehangers (muuuuch better at low speed handling), highway pegs, 6" (enough at 6"2' and great esthetic) Klockwerks and Vance & Hines machined 4.5 torquer slip ons (SOUND!!!) and as icing on the cake Wilber shocks to turn the Road Rock into a Road Glide on my 2022 Blue Steel, done!
@devinbroussard9510 Жыл бұрын
I had a 2015 Roadking and took the original wheel off and put a 19in enforcer off a street glide. I found the bigger wheel made the bike handle better. I just got a 2022 Road Glide and want to put a 21in wheel on it.
@peterborom38422 жыл бұрын
Spot on, its the dream bike. Those 4 changes would make it perfect.
@rob71052 жыл бұрын
To be fair they take the same upgrades as most people do to every other bike. stage 2, suspension, seat and bars. Would love to be in a position to own one some day, that green and black flamed out road glide would be the dream.

Great review video! Completely agree with not stripping down a CVO. I have a '21 SGCVO and I put handlebars, exhaust, higher windshield, and highway pegs on it and that's about all I'm going to do to it. The 117 is awesome and the RF audio is loud as hell so I'm good ;-)

I totally agree with the bars, seat, pegs, and windshield…. I was wondering if you were gonna mention that windshield. It looks badass stock from the factory that way, and if you’re just going to ride it out to Friday BikeNight, it works for looks. But yeah, not too functional if you’re gonna get out and get some riding in. Despite the big HD price tag, those are beautiful bikes, great paint scheme, we’re going to still see a lot of those on the road, at rallys, at various events. I’ve already seen a few green flame CVO’s out. I think that’s why I always favored a custom paint job, so my bike didn’t look like every RK/SG/RG on the road.
@ManAndMachine232 жыл бұрын
I agree man,doesn’t make sense to do too many mods on a CVO, I’ve replaced the stock baffles with Fullsac 2.0” baffles for more sound and replaced the rear shocks with Ohlins black line rebound adjustable 12” shocks. The ride comfort difference is night and day! The stock shocks rode like a bike from the 70’s compared to the Ohlins.

Agree completely. Seems wrong to have to upgrade a bike that already costs around 42 grand as is. I do love watching this channel though. The amount of aftermarket parts and the builds that these creators are able to do are nothing short of amazing.

I would do a HD torque cam with PV tuner, rinehart full 2into 2 exhaust,open up the intake if needed,bars, seat to move me back and of course the windshield. That’s it. Oh and definitely upgrade the rear shocks. Shouldn’t have to but unless it comes with the Ohlins HD shocks I’d upgrade them.

$44,899 + $1,200 surcharge + $750 Freight + Dealer Set up + Dealer Processing + Dealer Mark up + Tax, Title, Reg = $50,000 to $60,000 depending on the state you live and the dealer mark up. Insane amount of Money, but that's what Jerome Powell's Tax Free hand out PPP Money did to this Country!!! Women line up in front of LV to buy $5K bags and Men go for the CVO. Everyone is happy! An average HD guy would spend another $10K on Suspension, Seat, Handle Bars, Pipes, Windscreen and obviously more HP! Just keep the frame and replace everything else 😀.

I did a demo ride on this bike recently and was surprised at the lack of wind protection, as you mentioned. The Harley rep said the windshield was "chopped" for looks. What's the point of that big heavy fairing if you don't get some wind protection? I thought the Street Glide CVO was much better. Felt lighter too.

My 117 cvo street glide is having oil consumption problems and cavitation problems I just bought the 131 crate engine... yeah I no could of made more power aftermarket companies want reliability hopefully it will turn out.. If you are buying a CVO, I don't think you are worried about price, cost of mods, etc. I know, I have 2 of which one is the one in this review. Let's go in reverse order, buy a special or standard and dump 20k in mods that have no ROI. Be you and be happy with your decisions in your financial comfort zone.
