Better install premium aftermarket suspension like Hyperpro or White Power or Progress. Better damping characteristics as well, makes a world of difference. Standard suspension is very bad.

First trip ever on a 89 gl1500. Paid 2500$ and hit the road from Wisconsin to dc. My first long trip ever. 8 hrs of rain to start. I learned alot. Managed to safely take a 40 yr old bike 4400 miles in 10.days 11 stated. Not bad for my first ride. Glacier and the rockies this year! Hope to see ya out there man

Looks like a cool crisp beautiful day your way John. Six degrees in temperature is a big jump in your garage. A CVO low rider ST would be a very innovative idea. It would be neat to see what the Harley design team created if that should happen. Makes good sense to me! Happy New Year’s to You and Your Family! 😊

So who won the bike ?

I'd put the cabinets on the same side as the man door. I know I wouldn't like walking out into the lane of the bikes, I'd think I'd prefer them opposite of the man door or they might feel 'in the way'. Imo of course. Will look great when it's done!

wow, thats a lot of wok for 400-500 sq ft. You live in NJ man, you gotta have 30% equity in the bergen county joint, easily. Sell, go for a bigger house with an outbulding.

How do you find the extreme wedge air filter john all good even in the rain?

It works fine, but in heavy torrential rain you will definitely need the rain sock

John, another great video! If rolling dolly carts weren’t such a hassle to get bikes onto, they would be the best way to store a bike when not riding it.

It was nice to see the individual videos of this trip, but this film was epic! I love how this combined the entire trip into one video. As already mentioned in another comment, I know this had to be a major undertaking for editing and upload, but it was well worth it! I watched the entire film and will probably watch it again. I never expected Idaho to look like that, and I may have added Pikes Peak to the bucket list because of this. Awesome job!!
