Nice looking color and I bet it’s a ripper, but that fairing - oof! A face only a mother could love LOL, and that’s coming rom a Road Glide rider. I would take that same color Road Glide that was riding behind you though. Nice ride and nice review 👍

My closest dealer has them all sold before they even hit the floor. Can't even sit on them. Definitely looks good though.. I want to test one as well. Problem is I'll probably buy it.. ha ha.

Loved the review, probably due to the fact that I have ordered one, only going to receive it in October here in Australia. Think You should Seize the day and order one. From past Wife experiences, one day of sulking and a few gifts will do wonders to mitigate the bike purchase with the wife.

Nice review. I'm not much of a Harley guy but that is a sweet looking bike. Really like that paint scheme. Briefly lived in Ventura but haven't been there in years. Last time I was there I was shocked how so much of the strawberry fields were now shopping centers. But I digress......

Nice ride Jed. Everyone should have at least one Harley in the stable. This is the first bike I've liked in a while, but think I would save the nearly 5 grand and go with the S model. Seems a lot for bags, fairing, and alternate cluster, especially if you have another bike with those capabilities. But who am I to talk? I have a GS, and you have an RT, so I think we're both aware how quick OEM equipment can add up.

Nice review. Is that the shoei rf 1200? Are you happy with it?

Thanks, no, it's a Shoei GT Air -- the prior generation. Yes, I enjoy the helmet. It's got great air flow across the top of the head. I would actually prefer a Neotec, but the modular helmets are not the greatest for motovlogging.

Great bike! I’m 6’4. For me I would need the taller windscreen, tallboy seat that puts you up & back a bit, and the forward controls. I’d add the stereo, their Bung King like crash bar, and some floor boards. This is the bike I was looking for when I bought my 19 Sport Glide. But with all the motor+ work she is not leaving.

I haven't ridden a Sport Glide but I always liked the look of it. No doubt HD evolved this, in part, from that. Thanks for watching.

Yeah I did a 15” vented Gustafson windshield & lowers. Plus the tall shock on the rear like the new LRS-T has. The 22 LRS has an updated triple tree which no way for me to upgrade to but short of that I prefer its quick release fairing & forward controls

Jed… Seems strange to me that I guy that owned a 1250GS and new 1250RT would ever consider the cruiser riding position. That’s a head scratcher

I hear you and that’s a fair observation! All I can offer in response is that it’s in my blood. The Lowrider ST foot position is a little too far forward and I prefer the mid controls of an FXR.

How would you compare to your FXR, are the brakes better than the brembos? does it pull harder than you TC FXR?

Brakes are comparable. It does not pull harder than the FXR, but it is smoother. My guess is my FXR would beat it off the line, but it’s a stroked T/C with a ton of head work and it eats gas! I’m only getting 30mpg with that engine. Stock, the M8 delivers power in a much smoother way. It’s likely nearly as quick and I am sure faster at the top end. Meanwhile, the suspension is better on the ST, even stock. It’s a great bike. But … FXR forever! 💪🏼

@@TheJedRides wow I'm really surprised that inverted single cartridge on a stock st is better than your ohlins inverted fxr and rear too. I suppose it's the mono shock vs twin

@@seevip76 I think the rear suspension has a lot to do with it. I also am not overly impressed with the Ohlins up front. They are great for stability in a corner, but they're not so great at absorbing bumps in the road. I really need to find a tuner who can set them up better than they are currently set up.
