Best advert for sports bikes, I've seen in a long time the passion in twiglets.. Voice for the gixxer was great.

Very pleased to help you get the bike going again in Mersea after a little electrical difficulty! Looking forward to seeing how it goes on the track.

Usually not my style of bike..., but this thing, in that colour, OMG. this is beautiful. It sounded like you never got out of 3rd gear on this video.... did you? I loved the way you used the camera as a comparison when explaining your quest for perfection in learning everything from the ground upwards. Also, your level headed approach to doing everything in this way, to learn something new, is very methodical, Adult, Sensible and Logical..., something that many people who I have known in the past, could also use in their lives. I see one hell of a happy girl here on my screen, and I feel so pleased for you, and I reckon this build will always be your favorite one of the three. Once again your trained eye for fashion and asthetics has done you proud. Congrats on the result Dei, now go and enjoy it.... but keep the rubber side down!

The comparison to a fully manual SLR camera is a good one. For example, learning to be good with a clutch before going to a quick shifter makes one a better rider in my mind. On a different note, I quite enjoy your bike build Mint Custom videos. Good luck entering your HD build for consideration for Bike Shed 2025. Kind regards from Canada. 🇨🇦

@@MINTCUSTOM5 one other question. Do you happen to have any video or pics of the final result of the subframe you built? I’m actually putting the same rear cowl on my bike and it would be great to have the reference!

Very, very nice set up. I also have a Suzuki 600, one of the early SRAD on carbs…it’s a proper hooligan. I’m not sure what cams you have in yours, but they generally make most of the power high up the rev range. You will not believe the huge grin you’ll have when you hit 8500 rpm in third for the first time…it’s like the millennium falcon hitting warp speed….unfortunately, on road riding it does encourage bad behaviour, or lets be generous and call it spirited riding. They are absolute track weapons though, and you’ll be snapping at the heels of much more powerful bikes. ( which will piss them off no end.) I’m so glad you like it, as supersports are an acquired taste if you’re used to cruisers / choppers.

Oh I forgot to mention that my friend has a Suzuki 750 that he swapped a BUSA engine into and a newly wired harness. Less weight, registered as a 750, with a liter+ engine! I thought that was pretty amazing.

many of us call those shitzuki or just trash. HOWEVER THIS bike looks AMAZING and there's so much grease and sweat put into it that even though it's a shitzuki, It's earned my respect! (not that anyone cares HAHA! just my goofy humor here) Seriously though, I could feel your excitement through the camera and this was an an adrenaline injection I needed for the weekend and start of the week. I hope you enjoy the living shite out of your "Jixxer" !! BLESSINGS!
