Nahh the 2022 Toyota Corolla sedan is in the top of it's class. 2022 Civic has an unreliable oil diluting turbo engine and Honda dealerships give no discounts so you end up overpaying.

Test drove this car last week. Pros: great tech including wireless car play and both screens, sensing drive assist works really well, Bose sound is fantastic given the price point, car handles well and turbo is responsive after you get going. Cons: slow acceleration off the line, cvt is meh, no lumbar support (major fail) Overall Honda has a winner here and excited to see the hatch that comes with a 6 speed manual and looks better than the sedan in my opinion.

A dealer in NY has a 6 MT in black coming they want $32k for it. A CVT at another place for MSRP - $290/m lease. They want my 2018 Accord Sport MT as trade.

I have the 19 ex but the cvt is awful. Ill never relinquish my 13 Si until the new Si is released. But the hatchback touring is available manual. I hope you can procure one of those from Honda too. But I know you want to get that Type R to test.

not sure what she meant but the sunroof itself is power operated tilt and slide and the shade will move with the sunroof with one press of a button too so hope that helps :)

Being that this suppose to be a compact car, people say it looks like it turned into a 'mid-size' sedan. Because the Accord is the mid-size sedan, does the 11th gen Civic drive and feel like a mid-size sedan than a compact sized car?

It is not built in the US, but in Ontario. The hatchbacks are built in Indiana.

Keep the CVT in low when accelerating. You will be a half second quicker from 0-60

That is terrible to hear that Honda did not fix the seats. I had the 2017 EX and it costed me thousands of dollars going to the Chiropractor because of it. For two months I parked it and borrowed a friends car before selling it. In that case I would not recommend this car.

I think it's for safety, unless they put a seat bottom airbag they need to make the seat tilt backwards to prevent your hips going under the seatbelt in most modern cars. That aggregates weak lumbar support in cars that don't have it by curving the spine.

The bottom line for all brands is saving money and the uncomfortable seats is an issue while other brands can make comfortable seats with lumber for both driver and passenger. For example, 2017 KIA Optima has comfortable seats and both front seats have lumbar.

I had a '17 touring and I hated those seats too; I've driven both the 22 sport and touring. They have definitely updated the seats with more cushion. They appear similar, but they are much better and more cushioned. Just try it for yourself.

Interesting about the 2022 Honda Civic Touring Seats. Uncomfortable and you rated them a 4. Most other sites and people comments give them at least a 7 or 8. Yes! Having no lumbar support is a small complaint. Most vehicle rear passengers seats are generally less comfortable. While sitting in the Civic back seats if you lean forward your head will hit the roof. Compact cars made for 2 adult people under 6 foot tall in front and to tote 2 little people around in the back seat. Civic has always been noted for having loud cabin noise, this way you can't hear the whining engine struggling. CVT introduced us to sluggish movements. Small cars are putt-mobiles. 12-Speaker Bose audio system is better than Honda's standard units, but the Bose system in the Mazda 3 sounds better. Overall, the new 11th Gen Civic is better in tech sense, everything went into the toilet.

They killed all the character outside and the continuous vent is horrible. Do like the new digital dash and real blind spot. But they raised the price too much. Too much missing at its price. My 2020 is great. Only thing I don’t like is the lane watch camera and placement of safety features radar.

it does if you go to 7:42 you can see on the bottom right hand corner the first button is the rear cross traffic i believe because it is on the spec sheet
