I am going to be honest with you. this car is absolute incredible. Honda does not put on navigation in their small sedans at all. The civic touring does not have it and the 23 HRV touring will not have it. The tech that is on this car is outstanding. Yes it would be great to have wireless apple/ android CarPlay. but everything else that is on this vehicle is amazing......

The Insight does not have a CVT. Technically, it doesn't have a transmission at all. Yes, Honda does call it an eCVT, but a better name would "virtual CVT." In most situations, the engine is not mechanically connected to the wheels. It drives a generator, and that generator powers the motor the drives the wheels.

I just passed by 2018 Civic EX to my son and moved to a 2022 Insight EX. I miss having a digital (numeric) speed available and I miss being able to select audio mode (FM/AM/Bluetooth/iPod) from the steering wheel. There are some changes from the 2018 Civic that I do love though - a dedicated button for A/C is great (no need to dig into the Climate menu) and having an actual volume knob on the radio is great too! BTW, to resolve the digital/numeric speed indicator, I’m considering adding an ODB-II HUD

The Hoda insight is an amazing car. It really is as far as hybrid will ever get for sure. Democrats killed the tax incentive but if you can get your hands on one, you will be very happy. The closest thing to a tesla without the range anxiety. The value and quality is outstanding.

Insight doesn’t have a transmission so it doesn’t shift up or down. Paddles are regenerative braking nothing else.

Some things that Honda does just don't make sense to me. Why does this car have a 160 MPH speedometer in it? If it was marked out to 100 MPH it would be much easier to read. Why does it have paddle shifters? The computer will operate the transmission perfectly. Paddle shifters are a tool for teenagers to destroy the transmission. Every car should have navigation, not just the top trim level.
