2022 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT - Part 2:2

Finally I've created a long anticipated review on the Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. This was made possible by Crescent Honda in Southampton.

Thanks for sharing. How does it compare to the vulcan aside the obvious power advantage. I test rode the rebel 500 but like you wish the foot position was more forward. 👍

The vulcan is more fun to ride. If you can fit forward controls to the Rebel it would be fantastic. But without forward controls its just not quite there for me. Great bike but.....vulcan for me

There are forward control kits available in the USA but cost and shipping make them very expensive, the other way is with engine bars fitted with the cruise pegs but that is still £150 + . I have fitted wider foot plates from Amazon but you do sacrifice your lean angle but they are far better for me. That screen does not look like the official Honda item as they come fixed with a headlight surround I have a batwing fitted and it does help when wearing an open faced helmet.

i really want that kind of bike but sad to say its only youtube for me lol cant afford even the 300 rebel even if i can afford the 300 or the 500 sad to say they stop producing the bike :(

Don't worry too much, it's a good bike but I wouldn't want to live with it. The kawasaki vulcan 650 is a far better contender in this market

How do you modify a Rebel 1100 so that someone 6'4" and 270# can fit comfortably on it for a 1.5 to 2 hours ride. After market seat? How much higher for the foam, 3 or 4 inches? Go from mid to forward foot pegs on a crash bar? I love the bike, zero troubles with feet reaching the ground. Can you get a rear shock absorber aftermarket that might give 5 inches of travel in the rear instead of 3 3/4" ?
