2022 Hyundai Kona Test Drive Video Review

I got this one (Kona Limited 1.5T AWD) since November 2021 and just passed 5k miles with it today - I love and enjoy driving it.

Overall, this is very pretty car. However, the front end does remind me of a Pontiac Aztek. Even the charcoal body trim around the wheels is reminiscent of the Aztek. Like the host here, I'm also not a fan of the taillights being split into upper/lower. Weird. The interior, however is gorgeous. I really like the digital gauge display in the large touchscreen.

Which version is this? In my country even the N Line has 8'' touch screen.

i wish we had the limited trim in canada. i have a loaded SEL with the 2.0 with CVT and that’s the best you get without going for the n-line… i really really want the limited😭😭

That lower body cladding just kills the looks for me. That sort of gimmickry went out in the 1990s-early 2000s, and arguably killed an entire brand (Pontiac).

Thank you for this review. Your review along with the others on the channel allowed me to hit the BUY button at the local dealership yesterday, just as the unit hit the lot. It is an ultimate, and pulse red, just like that one. I have only had it a day. but I am very happy with the purchase - I agree with everything you said in your review. One weird thing I am still dealing with - you can move the drivers seat about 4" up or down to get really different driving positions. I am going to play with finding my best position this afternoon.

@@saadsalam Yes! It was 4 months yesterday. I especially like the shift points when it is in Sport mode. It is "compact" I am a single driver, so if you have others to fit in make sure they are comfortable with the seat they willl have.

27 MPG! Don't have one of those in Europe or the UK. $9.50c a gallon over this side of the pond!

They're just wayy too expensive still. 30k Canadian? It's just insane. That's a 20k vehicle tops. Same with the Seltos, Corolla Cross ect ect

The equivalent performing Bronco Sport with the 2.0T would be $38k+ with a much shorter warranty and no included maintenance.

I got a chance to drive I don't like the engine sound and you have to start the car with clutch and break its actually good speed smooth no cd petrol pump on the left of the right hand drive. I still prefer Audi 🎉 but I enjoyed Hyundai kona
