Great review guys, but just an FYI, I bought the 2022 AWD and it does have a spare tire right under that tray you showed. I believe ALL the models have a spare. 😉

My 2019 Kona Limited also has a mini-spare tire. So much better than when my 2016 Elantra just had a tire inflator and fix-a-flat can!

Nice review. I test drove a 2022 Limited for about 45 minutes and loved it. I'm hoping to sell my 2019 Kona Limited to CarMax and lease the 2022 Limited. So far, dealer discounts and Hyundai incentives are non-existent.

Hi guys nice review. Here in Australia the top of the line model is known as a Highlander whereas yours is the Limited. We have a few different things which you don't IE: Heated & cooled front seats, heated rear seats , both driver & passenger seats are electric , heated steering wheel , heads up display & an option between a sun roof or an all black roof & mirrors as a contrast...the wife has just ordered one & we traded her I40 Premium which she also loved...Keep up the good work

I recommend looking into the Kia Seltos SX-T!! I have one and I LOVE it. It’s on the same platform as this SUV but offers more space and other differences.

Disappointing how the limited trim doesnt have the features of sonata limited trim. No smart park, no ventilated seats, no 360 cam , no blind spot cameras, no heated steering wheel, no memory seating, no highway drive assist

Peugeots have horrendous reliability/build quality and wouldn't survive the tough competition in the North American market; there's a reason they quit that market decades ago.

I really like my Kona, but for what it's worth I get nowhere near the 29 combined MPG. I have a 2022 Limited AWD, and admittedly I do almost exclusively city driving in it, but I'm getting somewhere around 24 MPG and I never go into sport mode. Still love the car, but literally and figuratively your mileage may vary.

The KONA N-Line is the only good looking trim level, since it replaces the tacky, cheap-looking black plastic with painted trim, & has a better front/rear look & design. The regular KONA trims have a clown face in the rear & no sporty exhaust tips.

I don't really get how Hyundai says that the Kona replaces the Elantra GT in the north american market, with the move to CUVs. The Kona is smaller than the GT, with less rear seating and trunk space and less technology. All it has is AWD. Not that the Kona is bad, but it is a bit disappointing. I would have liked to see the Elantra GT line continue like it has in other parts of the world. I guess sales weren't good enough.

I really like the refreshed front design. Reminds me of the Ford Escape. The interior though is really bad. Especially when you compare it to their cheaper Elantra which looks a lot more premium. This one feels like a cheap toy.
